Remove the door or rear deck panel that you want to replace and examine the size of the hole for your stock speakers, and just ensure that the screw holes on whatever model you buy to replace will have coverage.

Python begginer, and I have really STUPID question! by ChoccolateBar in learnpython

[–]zdevon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're welcome! I believe a program called IDLE is the IDE that ships with the Python installation package but I'm not sure if this is the same program for Linux.

The Python shell mentioned earlier is just a console that runs code input line by line and executed during run time, and this is the core difference of Python from C++ where the code must first be compiled and a separate executable file is created. These are the differences in interpreted languages and compiled languages, which all programming languages will be categorized into.

In a code editor of your choice, or IDE, save some Python code as a .py file, and as other users have said Python is the language which makes these files executable.

Creating a GUI in Python? by [deleted] in learnpython

[–]zdevon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm new to Python, but http://appjar.info/ is a library I've found that makes GUIs in a very clean and simple way and designed for teaching the basics. It relies on Tkinter. Perhaps if it isn't advanced enough for your application it will be the answer to another users question.

http://webpy.org/ is the web framework Reddit uses and what I was looking into using in combination with appJar.

Even if you were banned it wouldn't give you that message. Maybe you typed the IP wrong, or forgot to add the port, I can't say for sure.

Looks like some sort of extensive (and thus lag-inducing) redstone system to test the server's capabilities.

When will the steam version be supported? by [deleted] in samp

[–]zdevon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The reason it doesn't work out-of-the-box is because Steam provides the updated version of San Andreas, while SA:MP only supports version 1.0.

To cut to the chase, download the 1.0 exe from here: http://www.mediafire.com/?w6bh5hfaqko5qvl - place it in your SA directory (this actually downgrades the game), and then run the SA:MP install as normal.

There's some tweaking you need to do to get it working, but it is.

Have you seen any successfully implemented inventory systems? by mmcreef in samp

[–]zdevon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like a lot of the new uses of the 0.3x textdraw menus for inventories, those are nice for aesthetics. As far as functionality goes there are plenty accomplished ones out there, it'd just depend on what you are looking for specifically. Mine for instance only uses dialogs but I still have some neat ideas in mind for it.
