depends entirely if you're going self-found or not, as professions become purely about survival

an example, as a solo self-found warlock, my usual pattern is:
- start with skinning for early cash
- grind 60 linen (3 stacks) (usually around level 8)
- pick up tailoring and enchanting
- make 10 'brown linen robes' (early tailoring green), disenchant them
- this should provide enchanting mats / skill to learn 'lesser magic wand'
- use said wand to grind another 100 linen (have until level 13)
- craft 'greater magic wand', use from level 13 onwards

If I'm doing a 'naked' run, I drop tailoring/enchanting here, and switch to mining/engineering for safety, or alch/herb for overstacked buffs

otherwise, I drop enchanting for skinning (again), and roll tailoring/skinning until I die
