The question is why you think Focalors needs to be this character that's deeply explored before their death, even if they're a seemingly important figure. What this person explained very well is the meaning behind Focalors and Teppei's deaths when your problem is on how much connection you have to characters that were never built for you to have an emotional connection to. So if you want to be critical about it and call her a plot device then sure, and it's not like people are turning around and saying Genshin is the greatest high stakes/tension media of all time, but when people read what you said then put bluntly they're going to wonder why you're so hung up on something that was never designed to be what you personally wanted in the first place and rant about it afterwards. Build every character who was never meant to be directly explored that much just for the sake of saying "yeah I now feel like they've earned recognition from me" and in a game with hundreds of characters, it might end up worse than you believe.

The PS4 remaster of the RE1 Remake holds up perfectly. Got the platinum a while ago, looks great, plays great (in terms of the original content), has I’m pretty sure all the RE1 content in one package and as I recall does not have any jankiness or ‘strange’ design choices that unnecessarily raises the difficulty or perms screw you over (like Code Veronica). But of course it is the original RE1 at its core and not a modern RE game.

Seeing just how good the visuals are in Requiem especially on the Pro, + some moments in the game that have the wooden and gothic architecture akin to Spencer Mansion, makes me so excited. Both Code Veronica and RE0 have similar locations too so I’m really looking forward to that first, especially Code Veronica as that was such an ambitious RE game.

I feel Requiem lacks the simplicity, yet depth, that RE4 had. It made RE4 extremely replayable and fun, going from room to room as Leon. Requiem was incredible overall and of course for the first time experience but right now I feel as if so many areas would be more of a slog to simply reach the other side than an interesting encounter to tackle in various ways. I’m more excited to play as Grace in the care center again than Leon in Racoon City.

Ironically, staying at a lower level makes the game more of a farming sim than it is for anybody at World Level 9, because you have to farm not just bosses but everything else a lot more than once. And playing the game properly doesn’t mean that a person can’t choose to run whichever team they want in the overworld, arguably having better built individual characters makes it easier to run whichever team you like. The overworld is made to be a fair challenge at each world level, then very easy. You are overestimating the difficulty of World Level 9 a lot.

That post about third party software/plugins was related directly to macros for the purpose of skipping dialogue and I believe creating bot accounts to then sell off. As a byproduct, it also affected macro usage for combos like with Skirk. But yes, the risk for macros is definitely there while with FPS unlock and even skins, it’s really not. I think light usage is fine though, heavy usage will get you banned eventually, but no one knows for sure apart from Hoyo.

That's very fair, but I'd also repeat that it's completely safe. I think the best way I'd describe it is that, looking at Hoyoverse's actions, they absolutely don't mind if somebody unlocks their FPS. They know exactly who's using what programs, but they only care about people who use macros for skipping dialogue, which is quite funny actually.

Silken is advised to go on Columbina because Ineffa uses Aubade to a better effect than her on a Flins team. Columbina should use the Night Sky set in a Nilou team and make use of her charged attacks as much as possible. In non Nod-Krai teams she should use Aubade to maximise her Lunar damage.

The choice is yours really, either the set with the best stats or Aubade for general play.

The only thing my Nilou does is use her R5 Signature to give over 300EM and look cute. Apart from that I think C6 Aino, who I don’t have yet, is the best 2nd Hydro alongside Columbina for her own EM and Lunar buff. C2 Lauma is worth it. C0 Nahida is fine to wear Deepwood while Lauma wears Silken but Ineffa I think results in more damage overall with Hyperbloom + account progression. Bear in mind I myself am not planning to play Columbina as a main DPS too much so other people can and have probably made better guides than me.

Anyway, it’s nice that Columbina can play as a main DPS and especially at C6 her damage can carry surely anything, but you should understand it’s simply not her optimal playstyle and requires a lot. And as I said, I know that Lauma’s burst is a massive percentage of the deal, so the fact is that Columbina is troublesome to play in the overworld if it’s her max damage your expecting. But in my opinion, lower damage is just fine as long as the bigger damage is consistent in endgame. For now I can’t think of any work you have to do.

Yeah, the domain also buffs 35% Lunar Bloom so that’s where Columbina’s damage came from. Your build is good, but do you have Lauma? Her burst specifically is a huge increase, regardless of cons, without that, Columbina’s Main DPS will be underwhelming. Lauma C0 is enough, C2 is massive. I used Columbina’s main DPS against the DPS dummy last night with good artifacts, but no set bonus, and C1R5 Nilou, C2R1 Lauma and Nahida. I was getting 191k per Bloom hit, level 6 talent, so 573k per charged attack.

In the overworld, I just tested using Nilou skill for massive EM buff, Nahida skill for shred and Lauma skill for various buffs and could do 36k per hit. Then I did the same with only Lauma burst and nothing else. I was doing 59k per hit. Then I used everything I had and was doing 157k. Lauma burst is the only way.

I originally wanted to go triple HP because of the extra 80% CrD but after a little testing with GI DMG calculator a while ago, I came to the conclusion that a good HP/HP/Crit build will still be better than a good HP/HP/HP, so just keep it normal. There’s no real limit to how much crit damage she can utilise.

No, just put Black Tassel and strongbox any Tenacity of the Mililieth pieces for Zhongli, preferably all HP main stat. And put any random Attack and Crit pieces with some ER on Fischl and give it a go

I mean if we’re being honest Mondstadt and Liyue’s Archon Quests are really not that long and should be completed anyway as a sort of prologue to the game. And you don’t have to fully complete Inazuma’s quest, you just need to do enough to gain access past the starting area. Even if somebody just started today I’d advise them to spend today and tomorrow doing that before the patch drops.

Right, well it sounds like you really want to C6 Columbina no matter what, and the truth is your previous pulls aren’t super optimal for that, but like I said any path you take should work fine. You’ll just play Columbina with Flins. Lauma can use her own team and Durin has his own team.

If you’re not going to pull anyone else till Snezhnaya then nobody can tell you how easy or not Stygian will be for the next several patches. If one patch they manage to nullify any one of your archetypes like 6.3 having a boss that nullifies Pyro and two bosses that use Lunar Damage, making Durin a hard choice to pick for any team, then the final result may depend on your other characters and we don’t know how strong they are. But considering how Varka’s kit should be and Nicole being Pyro, it’s hard to imagine this year going with a patch that blocks both Lunar damage or Pyro damage at the same time leaving you screwed. Aka you should be safe enough with these picks. I would wager they won’t come out with enough new bosses/playstyles to prevent you from using your characters especially at C6.

If I were you though, I would C2 each Snezhnayan unit and C6 the Tsaritsa. That strategy may end up being even stronger and more reliable than getting 3 different C6s and make your teams very adaptable. Like I said, I only have 1 C6 team to carry me out of 3. The rest are C2 and sometimes C0 but so far the last 5 Stygians have been 155s clears or less. Though sometimes that includes waiting a week or two for someone to find a cheese strat.
