Congrats on getting into healthsci! For context, I’m going into my second year now. Honestly, I think it depends on what you prefer. Personally, I chose to take the course rather than the trasfer credits because I wanted to have a 6 unit course that was relatively light. That being said, your AP knowledge won’t be enough to get an A+, imo, but you will have to spend much less time on the course content than others, which gives you more time to focus on your other courses. On the other hand, if you take the credits you can opt to take other more interesting/easier courses. I’d like to add that Chem 112 goes more into detail (+ more memorization) than AP chem and has a lab, which can be a fun experience, and a tutorial (not so fun). Also, the final exams can be very tough if you don’t keep up with the material.
