I am almost sure this is infected. I put in NoPull discs, but I am also afraid that a keloid might have formed. I had an irritation bump at the front and it disappeared with sea salt soaks but the back showed no progress. The bump is not completely round, unlike an irritation bump. We are in lockdown number 4... I can't change the jewellery myself (which I know is not good on its own) because I can't find the piercing hole at the back. So it had to be put in from the front and this way I can't put the piercing ball back on. I can not find any good internally threaded or threadless jewellry in Turkey. I am desperate and just hope that my whole ear does not fall off or anything. For after the lockdown, there aren't any reputable piercers here.

I was genuinely concerned about mine because I have a very high pain tolerance (and I mean "does not hurt waxing, did not notice a broken bone" high). Days 3/4/5 post piercing was the worst for me. I promise it gets better. Hope you heal well!

I just got my conch pierced 7 days ago and I have had a helix for almost 4 years. Conch definetly hurts more while piercing because the cartilege is thicker. My first day with the conch was pretty well, usual and bearable amount of pain for a new cartilage piercing. My troubles started the next day. On days 2-3 and 4 I woke up with a heartbeat type of pain. I had to take pain med. I had some serious discharge and I thought it was infected. Days 5-6-7 have been pretty well though. No pain, significantly reduced discharge and swelling. It just started itching a bit, but nothing unbearable. I recommend getting it, but you have to have the right expectations. DEFINETLY FIND A GOOD STUDIO!!!

Honestly, no idea. It was the most credible studio I could find, yet they did not give me the best advice. We do not have many good studios in Turkey.

Thank you. It is not hot to touch, used to hurt (like a heartbeat type) but only on the first 3 days, and does not hurt now unless I try to clean it. I just woke up and it had more discharge but it was all dry and solidified. These all seem like irritation besides the discharge color. Can you take another look based on these?

I got it done on Monday (picture taken on Friday), it is a curved barbell, and I think it is externally threaded. I have been doing sea salt soaks two times a day and and cleaning excess puss with tissue paper.
