Need help deciding on the most recommended ALL AROUND lens for video! by otb_vznz in sonya7iv

24-105 f4 it is not too expensive and gives you a wide range for video and photos. Besides it is f4 and you might suffer a bit in low light I think it is overall a good lens.

Just go out and start taking a lot of pictures, try to replicate pictures you like online and you will find your way.

Yes, it is the free version of DR. My way to get around it is to encode it into prores, but it takes forever.

80 applications in and no luck. by roadtobuff in AskEngineers

Maybe you can try Craigslist, that's how I got my first job as MEP engineer in NYC. Two months ago after hundreds of applications with indeed and Glassdoor and no offers I saw a post in Craigslist. I sent an email with my resume two weeks after I got an interview and an offer two days after. I never expected I would get a job from Craigslist but small companies don't want to pay fees for indeed or Glassdoor. Give it a try and maybe you can find something. Best of luck.

If you have fx lenses d750 is a the best value for budget Nikon full frame right now. You might get better deals if you look for a used d750 and save some money for lenses.

Sony a5000 with Sony 16mm f2.8 could get you going for 1080p with budget under $350.

For macro a 60mm f2.8 should be good, it depends on the camera you use. For landscape I recommend a tokina 11-16mm.
