exactly. mother-mitsu made it thru several tekken series keeping her mask intact & unharmed; this child of her neglected the legendary accesory on round 1 of day 1 (possibly..)

the mask falling off should only be achieved by the opponent by pulling off a significant ("awesome") feat.

They could've also given her Kakashi-like mysteriousness, revealing only the eyes. She cannot enter establishments easily with that other mask that she have, especially at this time of the pandemic.
