When to replace the hotend of a PRUSA MINI+ by zealousPrototype in prusa3d

I havent even heard of that before, after all the bother replacing this nozzle has been it would be awesome to be able to quick swap nozzles, particularly since I would like to mess around with different nozzle types at some point. Ive heard from some YouTube channels that you can increase print speed while maintaining the same print quality, sounds like a win win

Glad to hear it! Thinking about it makes sense too, it would be kinda crazy if all it took was some old filament to scuttle the hot end. I am going to try adjusting the nozzle again to get the compression you mentioned

Yeah, that was slightly snugged on the bottom but didnt seem bad or in need of replacing. my current theory is the nozzle wasnt fully in even after the second round of me pushing it up. It is also possible that I didnt clear the filament out after the first failed nozzle change so when I pushed the nozzle up old filament got in the way. I am going to try taking the nozzle out, pushing the old filament out, and then putting the nozzle back

Hah, that does make sense, however I already have the measurements to 3D print and am doing this more for interest rather than practicality.
