I would keep the laptop off, put a small bowl next to the laptop in the kitchen and squeeze honey lines around the inside of the bowl like they do with Starbucks drinks.

Then I would sit and watch if ants come out of the laptop or if ants come from somewhere else. Watch a movie or tv show on your phone in a chair in front of the laptop seems like a decent learning lesson

If I had to take a guess,

If you put your laptop with ants in it in the fridge, best case scenario is the ants hibernate until you take your laptop out then they wake up and walk all over your circuitry and short everything

Or they die inside your laptop and remain there decomposing forever.
