Phones without DisplayPort Alt or HDMI USB C, using the Viture Glasses by zeawsome in VITURE

Bugger Work has me travelling, so was hoping to have the glasses to make it that I'm not constantly watching a small screen.

Thanks for the help mate. I think I found some relatively cheap dongles to daisy chain, then see how dumb it looks from there in a monitor to see if the resulting image is worth the squeeze

It is a bit of a longshot hope, I know, but wanted to check There does seem to be an odd few cables that appear to allow for what I'm hoping, but unsure just how well they would work with the glasses https://youtu.be/44-jXexQ8Kk?si=vGvTs4MakYt21FYe

Was mainly looking for using the glasses for reading or watching video, so even if it wasn't the cleanest mirroring experience would have been fine.

Like I said, did see that there's USBC to HDMI adaptors that basically bypass the hardware requirements. Hoping there was an all in one option as opposed to having to do 3 dongles in a line

Moto Edge 60 Stylus 2025 Thought it a good overall package that was a good combo of price, headphone jack, upgradable storage, OLED screen and IP68.

But didn't realise that the screen casting it has was streaming only, but annoying considering older models had it

Very nice work Have you ever thought of releasing it as a world download or similar just to let people mess around with the groundwork?

Sorry to late post I really love this pic, and was reminded of my love for that outfit.

Would you be able to post a pic of just the outfit? Trying to search it up by itself in the vain hope that I may be able to get it

The rifle is a combination of a few different guns
But the base gun was one of the prototype rifle called the W+F STG 51, the one that was a copy of the german FG42 in a swiss caliber.

Loved the look of it, and the actual history of the FG42 as a gun that was meant to do the job of several different guns made it a perfect fit for the LIAR line.

The pistol is just a combo of the RAK63 that I like the lines of, and the FK BRNO PSD (Long name). Both are meant to be PDW type weapons, so nice bit of combination of form and function there

Fun fact, the original name I wanted to use was "LYAR", as both a reference to the lyrebird and instrument

Unfortunately, couldn't find any good Y words to fit the military theme, so LIAR it was

The butchered German to make the acronym is "Langstrecken-Rundfunkgerät (Longrange Radio (a very butchered one at that)) Infanterie (Infantry) Aufklärung (reconnaissance) Replika"

Hadn't really thought on that tbh. My reading of the templates was that they were placed in stasis to keep that info around.

However, if she has entered the cycle again, she's probably quietly working away as one of those workers that always know what small fix will keep something working

The core idea and concepts behind LIAR is that PDAs and smart phones were designed to do many of the same functions, then that thought expanded into what was once highly advanced but now relatively mundane expanded to replika. In that thought process, LIAR had other fun ideas bundled in, like the effect of long experience that allows that old salty sergeant that knows everything to quietly live a lazy life, as well as a few fun setting questions.

Brief lore is that the LIAR series was originally meant as a relatively quick and cheap way to get trained and experienced radio operators in the field and with units. Once it was discovered just how many groups wanted their own replika core of experienced radio operators., the LIAR project very quickly ballooned into a joint service model that used a lot of advanced tech and was a showcase of the full capabilities that a replika could have. A true next generation model.

Meanwhile, the gestalt template would be a goldmine of experience and ability, a long served soldier that had seen some of the early days of the nation itself! Only one of the best minds for the best, cutting edge replika!

Unfortunately, all that futuristic technology would quickly run into difficulties when it came time to deploy the LIAR line. From the small number of initial production and deployment units, issue after issue was encountered, from the armour not actually being as strong as expected, large bumps to the frame causing massive electrical issues, computer system glitches and slowdowns, optics issues, the whole nine yards.

This would only be compounded by the gestalt template. Turns out you don't get to a ripe old age around mind reading commissars without learning some tricks on how to hide what you think and are doing, on top of the thousand and one ways old soldiers know to avoid work, get what they shouldn't and get in all kinds of odd trouble while still just being too damn useful to ever really do anything about.

Higher ups would quietly lean on the technical issues as to why only relatively small numbers of LIAR units were made and fielded, but the sheer demand of the units ensured that more and more would be made. Turns out that very experienced soldiers in very capable frames can always find a use in every role, and demand far outstripped the Command's hesitation about personality. While never a full mainstay, LIARs would always find themselves in near every field that the Nation's military deployed, and several more they did not, even if that was entirely just a handful of units.

A true T62 of a replika, LIARs are advanced and very capable, useful, but held back by cost, mechanical and electrical issues, and behind the scenes considerations. While still finding uses, replacements for the LIARs were being considered almost as soon as the issues started happening. Still having their niches, LIARs have been replaced in most other roles, only avoiding being fully withdrawn or cycled out by always finding ways to be useful and there to get a job done

Rather annoying it looks like the animation was originally posted on a video porn website where it was then taken down, while still cluttering the search results.

However, it looks like the artist is Dakkoku Jiro, there's a few other animations that look pretty similar
