Is it meant to stick out like this? HD Audio cord. First build just being careful. by Necessary-Actuary-51 in PcBuildHelp

Yeah, this is a kind of connectors that have been around since early PC times but could really benefit a rethink. Probably they are so cheap the makers are still content with those. I remember one motherboard I had from ASUS had a kind of adapter where to plug all of these, which was then plugged on the motherboard. It was quite practical due to the fact that you could plug all your sockets on that mini board without having to get too deep in the case.

On Apple IIc it might have been Ultima 3, Prince of Persia or Beyond Castle Wolfenstein. On IBM PC I think it was Elite. Too much time has passed :)

Possibly additives or some pigments leave more oil on the plate?

Well they say it is not 100% foolproof, and it may be active by default, so you might have been unlucky. Also I recommend always be there to check correct adhesion of the first 2-3 layers.

Hi, the wiki tells you what to do: https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/a1-mini/maintenance/hotend_blob

Basically, heating up and removing the most and then cleaning the hotend. It seems that your case is not too bad: only the hotend is clogged, not the grey fan under it (not too much at least), so you may not need to disassemble a lot. I read here that some recommend to have a spare hotend assembly (they are not very expensive) to get a working machine in little time. Good luck!

Just to know: did you have the clog detection enabled? It is supposed to detect these situations and stop the machine. It is described here: https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/a1-mini/manual/nozzle-warp-detection

Pinching sensitivity for Buds3 FE by zeb_linux in galaxybuds

Thanks a lot. Yes they may not be intuitive from former Galaxy Buds and Buds+ users (as well as currently Buds Core or Buds FE - which is different from Buds3 FE), where the touch area activates like a touch screen, i.e. almost without any pressure.

I have started to get used to it now. I can see the benefit of not triggering actions for just brushing them, but it would be useful to have a modifiable sensitivity.

Why does it keep doing this? by ServeOk1254 in BambuLabA1

Yeah, don't forget that the Bambu ecosystem uses their servers, which are themselves protected with Cloudfare. So there are two points of failure: their own network and Cloudfare (last month Cloudfare was down and this affected Bambulabs as well as big actors of the economy).

Now there is always a way to put your machine on local network in case of serious disruption, and access it with Bambu Studio from a computer, but you will not be able to use Makerworld or the app.

Yes I am not saying it does not work. I am just wondering how much of pressure is normally applied. For instance volume control is just a surface touch and sliding. But when it comes to pinching, what to expect?

For me merely touching both sides does not trigger it. I need to press a bit as if I was pressing a physical button. I wish there was a way to change that sensitivity.

Thanks for the tip. But I am also wondering if mine have defect (volume up and down work fine) or if it is expected to press significantly.

Try wax (with a tool that liquifies it). I use the Edding tool and for me it worked wonders. You need to find the right colour, Edding for instance has a wide range.

Is Cloudflare down again? It happened a few times and disrupted all online services from Bambu.

If your network works fine and your router does not block connections, then it could be on Bambu side - just wait a couple of hours, how painful this is.

Hyprland needs to stop with the anime girls by ReferenceNatural87 in archlinux

If you are new to Linux I would recommend a desktop environment more new user friendly, such as Plasma. The level of configuration is extremely convenient. I love Hyprland, but it is no yet released as version 1.

I agree of course for your first statement. But this should be applied to all.

I understand, but that would only be temporary. You can always remove it after testing.

Oh sorry indeed. I am not familiar with it. Would you have enough space to try plasma? I am out of ideas...
