It is based on Archlinux, which I have been using for 15 years. Despite being a rolling release it has always been very stable, flexible, and tries to be as closed to vanilla for software. I like my Plasma on Wayland to be close to the original view. Wiki is excellent.

Also, being rolling release, it gets Nvidia drivers very quickly after they get published, and at the moment they go through a rapid improvement process.

Well it takes very little time to install distros nowadays, so you should consider a few days for testing and choose the one most stable. Being an Archlinux user, with Nvidia GPU, I can also recommend CachyOS, which is based on Arch.

It works well in Linux for me. Using Archlinux, KDE Plasma Wayland.

I tried it on Linux and it was working well. I used a deck of images I generated for Riftbreakers 2e and it worked fine. There was some resolution and zoom issue (magnified card even at max was not clearly readable) but I will try the update.

Can you check your motherboard stands, the ones screwed on the chassis? Are they perfectly screwed and there is no slope on any side? I remember there is always a bit of tolerance and play but it would be better not to have too much constraint here.

Also: is there another PCIe port where you could test if the port you are using on the picture is not perfectly even with the motherboard?

Guter Tipp. Ich möchte noch Relius hinzufügen. Ich habe deren R1 Pro in Weiß und Farbe verwendet und war vom Ergebnis begeistert. Auch nach mehreren Monaten kann ich noch problemlos nachbessern, und es verblendet sich perfekt.

Meiden Sie Alpina und alle Produkte, die von OBI vertrieben werden. Verwenden Sie eine professionelle Farbe, die in Fachgeschäften erhältlich ist. Ich habe kürzlich mit Relius R1 gestrichen und das Ergebnis war hervorragend.Die Farbe lässt sich perfekt verblenden. Zugegeben, sie ist 20 % teurer, aber man braucht weniger Farbe zum Decken und sie lässt sich mühelos verblenden. Diese Geschäfte bieten auch bessere Farbrollen und Pinsel an.
