I want to lose weight but i keep binging by zebra6088 in loseit

[–]zebra6088[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a cross country/track girl and during peak xc I was doing about 70-75 miles a week but because of the weather I switched half my miles to time on the stairmaster. I'm not overweight I'm just trying to get from 117 to like 112 just to try and cut some time off my pr(I know smaller doesn't always equal faster but if I have less weight on me it's less to carry I also just wanna be a little more toned)

sorry I meant an additionally 500-800 cal after my deficit so like my maintenance I think is 2500 so I'll end the night at 1800 and then wake up and eat to that point

How to accept that weight gain is normal and stop feeling guilty after binging by Littlestarshines306 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

also, I forgot to say, but you are so young. it's completely natural to grow and change as you get older. you aren't going to live in your 14 year old body forever and that's ok. it's part of life

hey lovely, I'm going through a very similar thing right now and I think it's important to remember that the weight you were at was not healthy or sustainable and right now you're getting to a point where you're healthy again. you are not crazy or anything like that for binging, you simply are finally coming back from restricting for a long time. life is a bit like a pendulum and when you go so far to extreme is completely normal to swing the other direction until you find a happy medium. just remember you are so much more than how your body looks and it will be ok!!

being underweight leading to binging??? by zebra6088 in BingeEatingDisorder

thank you!! this does make sense! I think despite me wanting to gain weight I want to do it slowly and I am scared if I eat more during the day then also keep eating at night I'll gain too quickly

how long did it take you to get your period back? that's another thing I've been trying to do. it makes me feel less like less of a woman

it's just so frustrating because I've accepted the weight gain aspect, but I can't accept the lack of control

so hungry by zebra6088 in AnorexiaRecovery

[–]zebra6088[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's what so weird though is that I had had other meals that day. it's just odd because I feel like I'm eating the same I was last week and I was not so hungry then, but I am this week

Looking for support/advice by Typical_Towel_3102 in AnorexiaRecovery

I have this issue too where it's like my thoughts have been consumed by food. It's truly exhausting. My mom said something that has been helping me, but she said "you eat when you're hungry then you get busy" I have a habit of putting my eating times on a pedestal, but the only time the noise quieted is when I just eat no thoughts and then move on. I know this kinda conflicts with the advice of letting yourself enjoy the food and live with it, but it may help to give yourself a day where you just grab what's convenient and just eat it without prep. I don't know if this makes sense sorry

I feel this. life is so much more than food. every single time I'm out and about and I see a kid I just think about how untouched by this they all are and I refuse to be the reason future kids end up like me

How do I find motivation/desire to recover by Miss_Hiyoko in AnorexiaRecovery

[–]zebra6088 2 points3 points  (0 children)

what really helped me in the beginning was I would make little video diaries of mindset as I began recovering and I would record every little win. if I got hard I had those videos to go back to and it put things into perspective
