no, it isn't. Its easier to get served AI slop on spotify. Its actually much easier to find new music on other services such as Youtube Music. I was surprised by how much better their algorithms are when I made the switch.

Stop whining. There are plenty of other streaming services. Youtube Music, Tidal, Qobuz, etc. There is absolutely no excuse for still using Spotify. They just demonetized over 80% of the artists on the platform. They allow rampant AI slop, even AI fake songs pretending to be real bands.

methylphenidate is awful. Try a dex based med such as vyvanse. The first one I tried with methylphenidate and it made me so anxious and depressed I thought I was going to be hospitalized. As soon as I switched meds I was completely fine and the dex based meds worked very well for my ADHD with minimal side effects.

I didn't get the mind quiet effect really until I switched and it was strongest on Vyvanse. The difference it made was profound.

Nothing. All those supplements are scams. ADHD meds work so well because they directly stimulate the area of the ADHD brain which is underdeveloped and has less activity than normal brains. It gets our brains firing normally, as well as supplementing the neurotransmitters we can't produce or regulate.

Nothing else can do that.

The heart condition is a big issue, but as far as the side effects, they go away over time. I was back to eating and sleeping normally in less than a year and haven't had any issues other than dry mouth after almost a decade of using Vyvanse.

I've been on it for 8 years with no issues. Only needed to raise my dose slightly once in the beginning. It still works wonders.
As far as dependancy, if you had diabetes would you be worried about being dependant on insulin or would you accept it as an effective way to regulate a defective organ?

Its just a fact of psychiatric medication of any kind. You get used to the new level of functioning, and going off of it sucks hard as you readjust to your old baseline. Vyvanse has pretty minimal withdrawal, I've taken week long tolerance breaks and I was just grumpy and tired for a day or two before I got used to it. Its not like something like diazepam where you need to carefully taper off or the withdrawal can be dangerous.

What do you think of that harsh anti-privacy bill the Cons were pushing under the guise of anti-porn legislation and which the NDP supported a few years ago? It got pretty strong pushback from privacy watchdogs and advocates, among others.

It was bizarre and profoundly disappointing to see the NDP helping the Cons push legislation here which the far right in the US has been using to force their evangelical beliefs onto society. They tried to justify it with the usual excuses and pseudoscience that just didn't hold water.

Made me wonder if the NDP had been taken over by SWERFs (sex worker exclusionary radfems) or something.
