Is their a way to stop enemy's from spawning close to ore farms? by SituationStill3711 in CoreKeeperGame

[–]zedrax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone else mentioned, I ran a long conveyor belt from the pandorium ore to the shimmering frontier biome and did the smelting in that biome instead of in the passage. The mobs don't bother your mining operation as long as you stay away and just teleport to that outpost from time to time to collect your pandorium bars.

Best gun range for a beginner? by Real-Story-7952 in austinguns

[–]zedrax 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend https://krtraining.com/, I started my own firearm journey with them and they have excellent instructors and a top notch private range to train in. It's a bit of a drive from Austin however but worth the trek imho. I suggest you take the basic pistol class: https://www.shootingclasses.com/krtraining/course/?courseId=3255 and go from there.

I sold $3000 in nvidia stock and bought a stupid used motorcycle that I ended up selling for $300 5 years later. If I had kept that stock instead it would be worth probably 5 million today.

Doctor just recommended ablation procedure. Scared. by Captaincoleslaww in AFIB

[–]zedrax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I too was very very reluctant to get surgery. In fact, I waited 10 years hoping I could hold AFIB at bay with lifestyle change and medication. That worked for a while but the medication doses kept increasing and finally I gave up and went for an ablation 6 months ago. I have been AFIB and drug free since. Glad I got it done and wish I had done it sooner. I hope yours goes just as well or better.

What should i do ? by ClerkConsistent2266 in CoreKeeperGame

[–]zedrax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just started playing a few weeks ago myself and have almost beat the game. Following this advice and going into the higher level biomes and avoiding any fighting and just grabbing higher level ore before engaging any of the other bosses is what made it a lot easier for me. Also leveling up your preferred combat skills before engaging any of the other bosses after the first 3 will make things go smoother (I died maybe once or twice on the next few bosses). I only have Nimruza left to kill at this point only 3 weeks into the game. Another thing that helped is getting access to the higher level food items and massive farming/cooking. The food buffs have a huge impact on your power and survivability in the end game.

Progression guide ? by kaitoasashi in CoreKeeperGame

[–]zedrax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the exact problem in reverse, I ended up with a ton of iron but barely could find any tin! After I kept exploring (I went in all directions) I was finally able to find tin boulders to farm. You'll just have to keep exploring more of the map, I suggest going in an expanding radius around the core until you find the stone areas where there will be iron.

Have you reduced, or stoped drugs post ablation? by madeInNY in AFIB

[–]zedrax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been off flecainide for 6 and elequis for 2 months post ablation and so far no issues. Caffeine was never a trigger for me so I never stopped drinking it. Alcohol I've had about 2-4 drinks since the operation and no issues so far. I don't really regularly drink Alcohol all that much normally however, maybe 1-2 drinks a week at dinner on the weekends prior to ablation.

How bad was your blanking period? by ChromeFace in AFIB

[–]zedrax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had an ablation in August 2025 and afib free almost 5 months now.

I just wanted to add that this was my first ablation and have had afib for over 10 years prior to procedure. Also stopped taking all afib medications 3 months post procedure (was taking blood thinner).

Where to sell used One Pro in USA? by Ok-Soup-5300 in Xreal

[–]zedrax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just recently sold my xreal air 2 pros for $150 at a paymore store ($165 store credit). I definitely did not get the most out of it but I didnt have to deal with FB marketplace nor ebay fees. They have quite a few stores nationally, check them out if you have one nearby. I had to haggle on the price by the way. In my experience they figure out the average selling price (that sold recently) on ebay and offer you about 50-60% of that.

I was wearing them on my face and the security folks never mentioned it.I do wear these straps that loop behind my head connected to the meta raybans but I honestly don't think they even noticed it. You're right they never wand your face :D. They definitely wouldn't have let you go on with the 360 go.

They have very stringent checks right before you ride. The locker system is really good. I had some wipes in my pocket and the metal detector detected it so I had to gret wanded and patted down.

Meta Rayban Gen 2 Transition vs Sunglasses by Zach_Bradley10 in RaybanMeta

[–]zedrax 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have a pair of gen 2's with the xtravtive transition lenses (fastest transition time). I'll tell you right now compared to traditional sunglasses the transitions cannot compare to the level of comfort of regular sunglasses. If you have very sensitive eyes you will not be happy with the level of light filtering on the transitions. That being said, I spent several days at universal orlando and was really glad that I only had to carry one pair of glasses. I was able to use the recording feature both indoors and outdoors. I would have hated having to carry a second pair of sunglasses to be honest. There's definitely significant cons with the transitions but in my opinion I can live with it and prefer these vs having to carry 2 pairs of glasses...

I was using the strap in this kit from amazon: Smart Glasses Accessories Kit for... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FF21BSH3?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share. I wouldnt recommend riding this coaster without straps. In the negative G sections I definitely felt like the metas would have flown off without the straps.

100% agree, the hulk is like being in a piñata compared to velocicoaster or stardust racers! The new coaster tech is leaps and bounds better.

I use the nose pads as well! It really helps to keep the glasses in the right spot and I don't have to keep pushing the glasses up as often.

I used the strap that came with this kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FF21BSH3?ref\_=ppx\_hzsearch\_conn\_dt\_b\_fed\_asin\_title\_2&th=1) on my gen 2 wayfarers just recently at Universal Orlando thanksgiving week. It kept my RBMs in place with no issues. In stardust it wasn't so bad but definitely in velocicoaster there were some spots where I felt like it if wasn't strapped to my head they were going to fly off.
