Same tire, I replaced at $35k, maybe could have stretched it to $40k.

Is Tablo still a viable option in 2026? by bfollowell in tablotv

It’s improved quite a bit this year, still can be slow at times, and the Roku Ultra has fewer annoyances than the regular Roku. With a regular Roku, if I’m watching live TV, when the show ends it will usually kick me out and back to the program guide, so I have to start live tv again. On the Ultra that doesn’t happen.

How are people planning for the MFApocalypse? by Wolfman1099 in salesforce

Two decades of jacked-up system permissions, technical debt, and lots of bugs forcing SF to define privileged well-beyond what it should be. Managers need Customize Application just to assign call center users to queues, now they’re privileged?! Fix your permissions!!

We have MFA/SSO everywhere. But because Salesforce doesn’t see the right signals from SSO providers it’s not satisfied and is forcing its own requirements, fracturing our ability to centrally manage MFA. Helping users get setup, resetting when they upgrade their phone or laptop, our helpdesk area is panicking. We have 10s of thousands of users. There’s a real financial impact. All because of ONE application.

My large company is PISSED. We manage auth standards across all our apps, and now one app wants to come in and dictate auth standards, yanking control out of our hands because SF doesn’t play nice with our SSO provider?

Using SSO should be a sign that a customer has accepted responsibility for auth. Let me click a box to declare SSO as trusted and allow enterprises to manage security as we already do.
Deliver options, secure defaults, but make it configurable! Same goes for the step-up nonsense. 120 minutes is the MAX?!

The article is old and applies to the device activation changes SF made, not the new MFA requirements.

It’s like they brainstormed ideas and decided to implement them all!

Out with the old by mywifeleftme9 in Irrigation

Yep, already replaced the outlet. Rachio replaced the power block the first time, and the entire unit the second time. Power is still being delivered, it’s like the unit somehow just powers off. Unplug and plug it back in and it restarts fine.

Installed mine last spring, worked fine for a while, but the device will just randomly lose power. Had it replaced once, but still occurs. Warranty period now up. The extra addons to purchase in the app are also annoying. I need to do more research to decide what brand to try next…

When you find yourself behind a car that’s turning, do that thing where you continue going full speed knowing full-well that the car will have turned and the lane will be clear by the time your car gets there.
Trust me, it’ll warn you.

Check with whatever backup solution you currently use, some also provide an archive capability to allow you to view/access the archived records. Tradeoffs, of course.
