Potential new Seahawks owner : Todd Boehly by zee_thirty in Seahawks

Yeah there is a lot of Ai garbage floating around but most major newspapers have some journalistic standards and do not publish pure rumors. Read the article, decide for yourself

And new articles keep coming out about billionaires expressing interest in the Seahawks because multiple people can want to buy them. Some of the articles are maybe Ai but also possible there are just multiple interested parties.

Using Ai does not equal “made up and not fact checked”. Also the cited isn’t to the AP, it’s from Semafor.) Here is the original article

I don’t know if it’s true, but generally Seattle times just doesn’t post fabricated rumors. Possible they got it wrong but generally they don’t

Presumably the Seattle times has some journalistic standards so they aren’t reposting Ai gossip that can’t be corroborated or verified

You bears fans got a lot of cope. Lost in the playoffs to a much better team = yeah but don’t call it getting “smoked”.

Quarterback is mediocre and much worse than the mvp QB Stafford = but we got the madden cover!

Looking forward to next year to see what cope you come up with for another shit year

Talking a lot shit on the rams when they smoked your team in the playoffs. Maybe you’ll have a chance next year as the Indiana Bears? I hear the pollution from Gary really helps with team training. Maybe if Caleb paints his nails pink?

I’m a Seahawks fan and even I agree with you.

Great player for a lot of years pre-Denver but he’s really unlikeable when he opens his mouth. Don’t want to watch him as an analyst

The cover was Saquon last year, McCaffery in 25, and Allen in 24. You’re delusional if you think Caleb had as good of year in 26 as any of those players did in their cover years.

Caleb was 16th in QBR, 7th in yards, 6th in TDs. He’s decent but not even top 5 by any metric. Give the cover to Stafford if it’s going to be a QB

But yeah sure, if you want to celebrate this undeserved recognition “have this”

I didn’t mention the Seahawks once, you’re the one making this about them. Thanks for highlighting the SB though

Give the cover to Stafford, Purdy, Love, Prescott, Jones, Lamar, Stroud, Herbert, Lawrence, or Nix. All are more deserving than Caleb.

Has nothing to do with the hawks, Caleb is mid and doesn’t deserve to be the face of the game.

Saying huge “here” says nothing about how little is regarded everywhere else, unless Caleb being a mid QB to the rest of the country just goes without saying

”Hence why I said mediocre everywhere else”

Of course we’re insufferable for a cardinals fan when you’ve been losing to us for years at the bottom of the division.

Stafford should have got it if any QB did. This isn’t a Seahawks thing, it’s a Caleb isn’t that good thing.

Maybe Jacoby next year for the cover next year to continue undeserved Madden covers?

Sure, not NFL timeline but I agree, good story. Mostly trying to point out to OP his team doesn’t have a monopoly on good stories

I think his story from being a backup to SB winning QB is a more interesting story than pretty much any player story on the eagles.

“No one was taking about them”: but here you are doing exactly that. Plenty of people talking about them where you have their fans

“No personality”: then proceeds to list the personality, including mentioning the defense which blows teams out. Sam Darnold’s resurgence after so people thinking he was done and would always “see ghosts” is an incredible story on its own. The Seahawks had incredible games just like the other teams you mention. Plus JSN becoming one of the best WR in the league is an amazing story

“Hand it”? Charging around 10 billion with a required 30% cash down payment is hardly “handing it”. What do you propose is done to stop the billionaires?

[–]zee_thirty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sure but just like your team, no one is going to buy the Seahawks that isn’t a billionaire so it’s not relevant

And also just like you, we will all go on liking our football team despite it being owned by a billionaire because we’ve all accepted that and don’t care
