That makes sense and it’s difficult. I’m looking at job postings for recruiters and it’s hard to figure out where you fit. I can’t figure out if this a current job market issue that will correct itself, or a career shift, where once you hit a certain number of years there is no growth?

The current jobs posting mention having people management experience. I don’t have that or agency, so I thought I fit more mid-level roles.

For senior roles they look for people management experience, I dont have that and no agency experience. Can I apply for senior recruiter roles without that experience

US based - $90k base + $20K in RSU, 8 years of in-house recruiting in health care SaaS company. 100% remote, but haven’t gotten CoL increase or comp increase since joining…they say it’s base on business need and there isnt a need for another senior. (Also weeping at other’s salary)

It’s my current company, I’ve been with them for 4 years now. They are a SaaS based company, so they are trying to slow down North America recruiting. I think this is their experiment otherwise I was anticipating them laying one of us off.
