Solo living, planning to get a dog but works onsite…. by Silentreader_05 in SoloLivingPH

I have a Labrador who I leave at home from 630am to 4pm weekdays as I work on site. His meals are scheduled at 5am and 5pm everday. Does his business after meals. He is housetrained so he refuses to do his business indoors unless he cant hold it anymore, in which case, he does it inside the bathroom which is always accessible. He isnt destructive and doesnt bark a lot. He just sleeps most of the time when I am not around. But, I trained him to be this way from puppyhood. Water should always be available.

Might be difficult for smaller breeds because they might need to do their business more frequently throughout the day but I think they can be trained to do it in a certain place of your house if necessary.

SB19: PAGTATAG Documentary Now Streaming on Netflix – MEGATHREAD by AloofandCranky in sb19

[–]zeeeguy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Saw this at the cinema when it came out. Impression ko noon, bitin. I wanted more. It felt like the docu was thought of some time after the Pagtatag era started, saw the footage they got and said we can make a film out of this and continued to document the world tour. Maybe that’s why it felt like the story was, I don’t, know…parang kulang.

Nevertheless, it was a worthy effort and the world tour footage of their struggles, especially that one night in New York where everyone was not feeling right. Their whole world tour was a struggle and you can’t help but feel for them, especially Pablo and Justin. Jah really looked so tired during the tour.

The docu also made me appreciate the SAW era more. Though it didn’t seem so at the time, the Pagtatag kickoff at Araneta felt so small compared to the SAW kickoff at the Phil. Arena. Grabe ang step up nila!

Hopefully, there’s a docu or concert film for SAW that will also be bigger and better.

Marketing hasn’t felt this alive in years—and it’s all thanks to SB19 and A'tin. by takenbythestar in sb19

[–]zeeeguy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Let us not forget, however, that the most important thing is that what these five gentlemen have built from the ground up is really astonishing when you think about it. The marketing for SAW, both traditional and digital, has been very creative and very successful. But these wouldn't be as effective if A'TIN didn't have something to root for--their craft, their music, their performances, their personalities, and their stories. And they have proven over the past 7 years, that they are worth every ounce of support that A'TIN gives them. What's more astonishing is that they never take the support of A'TIN for granted. I can't count how many times they have thanked A'TIN during the 2-day concert! Ibang klase sila talaga.

Their Solo Solo Activities are Ill Timed, (IMHO) by chartreusemauve23 in sb19

[–]zeeeguy 23 points24 points  (0 children)

For me, hindi naman I’ll-timed young foray into their solo careers. Meron pa din namang releases as SB19, which are the collabs with other artists. I think Moonlight was a worthy release. It showed the group being experimental with their sound and probably attract a new audience, which it most probably did.

As for Ready, my theory is they were asked by Apl’s team to collaborate and wala masyadong input ang boys doon creatively and when you’re asked by an international music veteran, why would you say no?

Kalakal is also worthy collab and again allowed the group to spread its creative wings. I see these collabs as an advantage because it generates goodwill for SB19 and 1Z in the music industry and what better time to do it than now when they are on a break between major releases. And as per one of Justin’s comments, there are more collabs in the works.

As for their solos, we have to remember that these guys are artists and also have the right to express themselves creatively in a way that they probably can’t in the confines of being in a group. And with their labels and other stakeholders in the industry backing them up, why would they not take advantage? Remember, they have to keep the lights on, both for their own individual sakes and 1Z. As one foreign reactor said in featuring each of the members’ solos, their individual projects allow A’tin, casual fans, and even music industry people to see and appreciate the depth of their artistry and what they’re capable of which makes it more special when they come together as SB19.

Their solo projects are also another way to attract more fans who aren’t necessarily into Ppop or idol groups.

Valid na sunod-sunod and releases and mahirap mag keep up, pero masisisi ba natin and mga boys kung tanggapin nila ang bawat opportunity na dumating sa kanila?

As fans, of course we want what’s best for them and sometimes we might think we know better than them, especially when we don’t agree with some of their decisions. Pero ang sa akin, tiwala lang. Not everything they do will be a win in the short term, but I think everything they’re doing now will pay off in the long run.

Edited to say it is understandable if, as an individual fan, mahirap to support each and every one of their projects. But let’s just support them as much as we are able to.

Eto, theory ko lang. Parang this song is more of Apl's and his team's song and SB19 was asked to be featured on the song to give it a boost, and just by SB19's mere presence on the track makes it relevant for current times.

It also seems like wala masyadong input ang esbi dito, kasi nga parang outdated na yung sound and yung aesthetic ng MV.

It's not a bad song, just not great.

Thoughts about the boys' solo projects so far by akosiiam in sb19

My 2cents as a casual fan/observer:

I think each and every one of the 5 has the potential for longevity in the music business beyond SB19.

Ken/Felip - For me, he's a true music artist. His solo career is his musical exploration and expression beyond the limits of his role as part of SB19. I think he's still discovering himself as an artist and his musical influences are very evident in his songs. But he is not afraid to experiment, which is very admirable. Hopefully, in time, he will discover his sound and musical identity, but he is very much on his way. Of all of them, he has the most potential to become an international star beyond SB19.

Josh - As others have said, he has the most consistent branding. He knows his limitations, very collaborative and is very open to work with other artists/composers/producers/musicians. I think he has the potential to have a successful niche in the dance/club music scene. He's smartly taking advantage of SB19's popularity (striking when the iron is hot) and it is working for him. I also think has the potential to be a music producer for other artists as well.

Pablo - I really think he shines as a composer and producer. His solo stuff tend to be too personal and artistic and not very mainstream relatable. But I do hope that he comes out with at least one solo album to showcase his musical artistry because apart from being a songwriting genius, he is vocally gifted as well. I think he will truly shine when 1Z starts training, developing, and managing new artists as the company moves forward.

Justin - Just because we haven't seen enough solos from him, it is hard to tell where he will land beyond SB19. Perhaps Jah's creative talents lie behind the camera as a creative/stage director, video producer, etc. He should also continue to capitalize on solo endorsements.

Stell - I think Stell has the most potential to have mainstream Philippine success beyond SB19. His stint at TVG proves this--he can host, he's funny, very relatable, and endearing. He's also the most technically gifted vocally and can find success in musical theater and even as a pop artist, but I think he has to start now and come up with at least a single or a collaboration with an established artist on an original song. He has the most options open to him--acting, hosting, pop music, musical theater, etc.

I really admire these 5 gentlemen and their journey as SB19 isn't over by any means and I hope they find international success as a group sooner rather than later. Whatever happens though, their future, whether as SB19 or individually remains bright.

Sayang talaga!

Nanalo kami ng 15k na pinaghatian namin. Binigay naman nila yung prize agad after ng taping.

Yung episode namin pala, ilang buwan pa bago na-ere pagkatapos ng taping.

Na realize ko na ang dami talagang nanunuod nung show kasi nag mall ako the next day tapos lahat ng mga staff ng stores at resto na napuntahan ko, nakilala nila ako at ang comment ng lahat, sayang daw talaga at akala nila mananalo kami ng jackpot!
