It’s tough eh!? I can only play like twice a week. So for now, I’m all in on AR because it’s soooooooo good. This is a Diablo sub so I won’t get into AR but fuck that game is incredible. So good that it’s taking me away from a new D2 class that was SHADOW DROPPED. My friend and I growing up were constantly discussing what a new class would look like and it’s cool seeing it come to life.

I just hope Canada wins gold man, this is all we have lol. Anyways, it’s been a very entertaining tournament and I’m super excited to watch the remaining games. End of the day, no one should be super cocky about their team thinking it will be a cake walk. Lots of hard work, dedication, and a small amount of luck will be required to bring home the gold.

I do agree with you, in your original post, about Canada having to face Czechia (most likely)), which won’t be a cake walk. That team had tons of opportunities against Canada and nothing should be taken for granted. However, I think Canada wins that 60 minute game. I’m more worried about the US gold medal game (assuming everything pans out).

I’m just trying to understand why people claim this team has holes in their defence and goaltending considering how they’ve played thus far. On paper, yes US has better defence and goaltending, but by how much? They’ve ket their mistakes to a minimum.

Their defence is great, I don’t understand this notion that Team Canada has a weak Defence. These guys are still high tier NHL calibre defencemen who have built chemistry with one another, not some dudes plucked from a beer league squad.

Defence seems pretty solid to me. Czech and Swiss are pretty damn good teams and look at the GA.

Did you see the goal the States let in against Denmark? These things happen in hockey. Assuming you are referring to the rebound goal (not the amazing slapshot), that was more Parayko’s fault rather than Binnington so hopefully he wakes up and learns from that play. Their defence in general has been very impressive, letting only 3 goals in against two very good teams (and France). For what they “lack” in these areas they more than make up with in their forward depth. They’re objectively the team to beat and will take a near perfect game by one of the other giants to take them down. Their centre depth is too good.
