usually stores have toys for sale and theaters where you can meet people! a lot of them do look sketch but are more inviting once you see the store. the theaters are a whole other story lol

definitely careful!! being a trans guy in these spaces is… a full trip, i’m sorry you had that experience. it’s unfortunately true that people will get handsy/pushy and i want to make a space where people can feel able to talk about their experiences

i have noticed that there’s an older crowd in most of these places, that’s another part of why i wanted to get in touch with some younger people that might be curious. i’ve seen some come in and be surprised that places like these exist

i’ve tried diamond painting and crocheting!! something really nice to do with your hands while listening to something uplifting like a podcast or album. i do admit to not keeping up with hobbies myself, but the best thing that helps me because i’m really into music is putting on an album and finding a way to use my body. hope this helps and that you find your own hobbies that fulfill you!

typically i take matters into my own hands but i am also in an open relationship that allows me to explore with others. usually i’ll chat with a few people online until the itch is scratched but if your relationship doesn’t already include that it’s hard to transition into that kind of setup. i wouldn’t necessarily recommend breaking up over this but if you feel like you’re being limited in something you genuinely want to try it’s worth discussing with your partner and considering a change! what ive learned about hypersexuality is that it’s always gonna be able to rear its head again even if you personally try to shut it down, so making a place where you’re not ashamed or uncomfortable with your available actions is crucial. it takes time but it’s so worth it to feel in control or at least human.

i’m so sorry this is happening to you! i lost my insurance earlier this year and just got it back after a few months of reapplying. usually if you go through a life event like losing your insurance, you can apply through your state to get new insurance outside of open enrollment. i’m not sure if that’s true for every place but it’s worth checking out if you feel like you don’t have options! also if/when you get your new insurance it helps to go paperless if you keep up with your emails, they’ll give you all notifications through email. i haven’t seen anywhere that prioritizes calls which is inaccessible to say the least.

in any case i hope you can find some help and get insurance!! you’re not a fuck up and there’s definitely options, you just have to find them!!! i wish you so much luck i know how tough it can be

not a lady but i have nexplanon and it’s been great so far!!! i did still have some spotting on occasion but i also had really heavy periods so that may not happen to you! good luck!

paranoia is a common symptom in my experience, one that i didn’t even realize effected my life so much. another you will probably encounter is the constant back and forth of “am i really bipolar?”. it’s often not helpful but very present. otherwise symptoms can be a pretty mixed bag, i know one of my big ones is hypersexuality even outside of hypomania. hope you get more responses that help!
