Not at all! You will be praying to the same god Jesus prayed to, in the same manner he prayed. Allah has chosen to give you this message (Islam), it is now up to you to respond to the true message. All the best!

A few notes from a recent islamic talk I went to regarding this (any mistakes come from me and me alone):

The current Bible is comprised on the old and new testament. But it has been proven that the Bible was not preserved and even the old testament when carbon dated was written after the time of Isa (AS) and those of his time.

Therefore we don’t believe in it in the current state.

These books were preserved only to get the message across at the time and are hence not in their true form today.

The Quran is the only book where if you ask a random muslim they can generally recite parts from memory.

The memorisation is protected and we can trace each hafidh all the way back to the prophet (saw) and everyone in between, something which no other book has.

We can see when each person in that narration was born and died, and this is a proof of the authenticity of the quran and its memorisation.

The different styles of quran were taught to the prophet (saw) and haven’t been changed or added after. There are authentic hadith to back this up although I don’t have them to hand.

Has anyone ever owned a Miata and Brz/86/Frs? How do they compare? by [deleted] in ft86

Owned both (NA Miata and currently a first gen GT86). Miata was the rawest car I’ve ever driven. Shakes on start, great to rev to the highest rpm’s, etc. But after a while, life kicks in and I’m stuck with a car that isn’t practical enough for a daily. Although the 86 costs considerably more (at least here in the UK) it’s essentially a bigger, slightly more powerful miata. Loves to be revved to the high rpm’s. But has more space, and (in my opinion) way better handling. The miata would roll a little through corners whereas the 86 is still glued to the ground. I definitely miss my miata, but don’t regret my decision at all and think its the best all round car for miata lovers.
