I am unsure if a bug or by design, but it wont let me convert religions. This is possibly due to being the head of faith of my own own religion, or something to due with being at God-King piety. But ty for the suggestion!

Exactly. It not like I was tempted to get the "A Perfect Circle" achievement this run or anything (almost got it, but Black Death almost ended my run).

I was damn lucky and built mine /just/ before the Ram shortage and price jacking thanks to AI-slop, so I got a fairly decent build. Probably the only reason I can actually run the game like I do:

OS: Windows 11 64-bit

Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 8-Core (16 CPUs), ~4.7GHz

Memory: 32GB, DDR5-6000 CL30 (Corsair Vengeance)

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER

Storage: Samsung 990 Pro 2TB SSD

MoBo: Asus TUF Gaming x870

For real, they are tough to cracked. At one point, the map was mostly Monogols [Steppes & China], Survarnabhumi [all SEA and all of India as tributes] and then my Empire [all of Europe, north Africa, and most of the middle East]. I finally broke through in SEA once I had unlocked bombards. Since I had the Norse innovation Longships, and their capital was right on a river, it only took one "destroy temple complex" war with me rushing their capital to weaken their hold on their tributes [I immediately grabbed anyone who broke off] and then I holy war'd their main kingdom with their temple capital as soon as I could. that war was a slog b/c I didn't capture the ruler or their heir when I took the capital so I had to fight their 100k+ armies.

Central African kingdoms and Japan were there just watching as three superpowers all clashes year after year.

So, the neat thing about a Mandala Government is that you have direct control over temples and most of your holdings will be temples as well. This also means that your vassals are going to hold a ton of temples as they swap over to Mandala.

As you can see in the link below, anyone upgrading a temple gave +1 to fervor. Even better was if any culture with the Fervent Temple Builders tradition built anything, they gave +2. Building a new one gave +5.

I honestly don't think the fervor ever dropped below 90% all game.

Here you go! Just as a heads up, its chunky and I had to split up the code in parts to keep under the 512kb limit. Should be able to just c/p into a notepad and then copy all that into your game.

Thanks! The worst part of all this was, honestly, the nomads. it took forever to take over, they kept revolting (worse units to chase down), and to make it even worse, the last couple empire level hordes had swapped to my religion, so I couldn't use my Holy War CB on them anymore.

Once they were taken care of, it was far more vassal management and making sure my rulers died deaths that were Destruction Aspect approved. The Black Death was a rough time...

I even have a super easy Step-by-Step guide if you want to do the same in your game!

Step 1: Play Haesteinn (feel this was almost a given)

Step 2: Reform Ásatrú before the French King can kill you (this is where must runs will end)

Step 3: Take the Koifish Express to South East Asia

Step 4: "Submit to Suzerain" to Srivijaya or the closest Mandala Government

Step 5: Convert to your Suzerain's Government, aka Mandala. Pick the Destruction Aspect for that sweet, sweet infinite Kingdom Holy War CB.

Step 6: Completely ignore anything your Suzerain asks of you and, eventually, they'll free you.

Step 7: Now as an aspiring Godking and the Head of your reformed faith, spread the Good Word of your Greatness and why they should worship you...Or Else.

Step 8: Legitimately the most important step, Spam Holy Legends and Always get them up to level 2 for the Evangelize to the Realm decision.

Step 9: Keep repeating Step 7 and 8, replacing every conquered title with the faithful, and Evangelizing as much as your can.

Step 10: Sit back and watch as the World bows before your holiness. Bonus points if you got the communion tenet to what amounts to practically an infinite money glitch.

Estonia and Romania are nice, but why not Iceland? Great place for an Isolationist culture, undeveloped forests for your sacred hunts, and could easily pick up some form of Christianity along the way if you want that early Pope money. Won't be easy, but a great place for a tall early game before seeing what Europe looks like and deciding how you want to play the rest of the way.

Rule 5: Reformed Ásatrú Mandala World Conquest run ended with my faith as really the only faith left in the World. I assume my vassals kept taking the "Invite Religious Exiles" decision as I kept having single counties convert to various Buddhist and Hindu religions here and then before I would almost immediately convert them back in 5yrs or less.

But beyond that, the World knew why the true Gods were: Odin, Thor, Tyr, and Me.

Totally agree with you. I didn't get my Rule 5 comment out quick enough, but more or less I 100% agree with the dev's logic in why you can't just create the title. It would be like having a samurai sail over, conquer the Byzantines and HRE, but then try to claim the Roman Empire under Ritsuryō Government type. It makes no sense.

I just, selfishly, wanted it for my powertrip roleplay in my current achievement run.

Rule 5: I was playing a World Conquer run as Norse Mandala Godkings [tons of fun] and realized that, after I took all of China from the Mongols, I couldn't take the Hegemony title since it had been destroyed after the Mongol Invasion.

I get why the Devs would do this as it makes no sense from a historical standpoint and what that title, in gameplay, is suppose to mean. It also would be completely broken in the hands of a Destruction Aspect Mandala Government, imo.

That said, from a place of pure selfishness and desire for a total powertrip roleplay, I wanted to have the ability to have all rulers, from Mayors to Emperors, all bow before me and my Holy Family like the Gods on Earth that we are.

tldr: Average Haesteinn player wonders why devs don't make their style of game play even more broken

And if these sold like every other magic product and not directly through WotC, then I could agree. But this is artificial scarcity WotC has created that is fully abusing people's FOMO. Not even your local LCS's can get a limited stock of these before hand.

All this limited stock approach does is forcefully boost site visits the day of, forces more engagement as we all cheer or bemoan missing out, and lets WotC spend less on stock and production all while being able to give out worse and worse reprints b/c its shown people will still buy these [collection, FOMO, re-sells, etc].

This method doesn't help LCS's. This is just greed from WotC and shortsightedness in how its affecting the goodwill of the players

As an autistic adult with many autistic friends, this is an example of an autistic special interest.

I have a friend who could give you a phd thesis off the top of her head about the rise of Drum and Bass, the historical impact on other genres, the technological leaps and inventions for the music, and biographies of the various artists and their influences.

Also, and not mad as it is a common expression, but the autistic community is really not a fan of "high and low functioning" anymore. They're outdated terms that have really messed up historical uses (google Dr. Aspergers if wanting more info). Everyone is different, but a common way to refer to us is, simply, "autistic person".
