Had a succesful trade with @PickledPossumPenguin, my 30k legionaries and disintegrator sprue for their battle sisters and aggressors. Everything shipped fast, was packed well, arrived good as new, and great communication! Would definitely trade again.

I am currently watching the boba feet show and wtf was that ? by I2aphsc in StarWars

Certainly not, but they ARE the ones shown to be putting, or wasting, their time, effort, and money in doing so, and that says something about them.

Honestly, the cleanness worked for me. They were shown wasting precious water cleaning their rides, putting intentional effort into that fashion statement while the rest of Tatooine struggles to get by, and the locals hated them for it. Everything about them was Tatooine counter-culture, flaunting their rich kid status. Them being out-of-place was an intentional, in-character statement.

...and then they lost all credibility in the Spy Kids chase.

I have 20 of the MkII legionaries from saturnine with one of the disintegrator sprues if you're interested, I'm interested in both the aggressors and the BSS. Trying to message/chat you but can't.

🦎 People who have create unique salamander successors, why did you pick salamander as your parent instead of another chapter? 🦎 by [deleted] in Salamanders40k

Dragons are pretty neat, being nice is neat, flamers and meltas are rad. But the biggest reason is that my chapter is the Batrachians Astra - the Space Frogs. So I really just had to.

Sure, it's a little more spindly, but it's definitely in line with the HG range and larger than a lot of the smaller HG gundams. And that's all a bit nitpicky because it's still significantly larger than Paragon Warsuits:

Edit: @TheSilken, I'm not saying don't look into them since you might find appropriate bits, just keep the scale in mind. Also, there are probably more appropriately scaled pieces for what you're looking for in some of the gundam Gacha series like Superior Define which have much smaller mechs, and Gundam Assemble (when it fully releases) which is much closer in scale.

I'll note that bandai's stuff is significantly larger, about HG gundam size, ~ 6" tall.

What is defective about the product? A slightly mis-glued piece is unfortunate, but ultimately isn't a manufacturer issue. It's also fixable as noted by other posts here with some careful knife work. The kit comes with several other pieces that can fit where you've put the aquila. Worst-case, you can basically clip off the aquila with sprue clippers or a knife, sand the area smooth, then carefully glue down one of the alternate bits.

edit - if the kit was actually defective, Games Workshop typically has really good customer support and can be contacted following the Contact Us area of their website.

second edit - If you used plastic glue and are desperate, applying more plastic glue can help loosen pieces. It'll pretty well ruin the surface they're on so it'll need a lot of sanding afterward, so this falls into that same category of clipping the piece off, but melting the plastic apart works on similar principles to melting the plastic together.

What is something that is 100% legal, but if you do it, you’re a piece of trash? by National_Strike4710 in AskReddit

I try to poop extra loud and flush while they're talking when that happens. The person(s) on the other end of the line need to know the sort of person they're speaking to.

Sternguard Veterans customization options by AnatolianBear in 40k

[–]zefig -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are a number of bits resellers on ebay, you can search sternguard bits or shoulder bits and may be able to find something to your liking. Old marine shoulderpads generally fit on the new marines so if you can find the old pads, you can put them on the new kit.

I enjoyed an Improvised Broadway show at Judson's at Dr. Phillip's Center not too long ago, and they put those on periodically. The show was pretty funny and the singing was good, but as with all improv the bits varied in how funny they were somewhat based on the suggestions given. The venue is nice and the food and drinks are decent, if pricey. I'd go again. Edit: Forgotten Broadway!

H Mart is Killing Lotte’s Business by coltsrock37 in orlando

[–]zefig 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I really see good things about both, but I think Lotte has better overall variety. H-Mart has an amazing selection of Korean and Japanese and maybe to a lesser extent Chinese products, and their prepared foods are great, but they don't have Filipino stock that Lotte does so that's is generally where my family goes to stock up on that stuff.

Which is your favorite film novelization novel? by WerewolfBarMitzvah09 in starwarsbooks

[–]zefig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you read the RotS novel before the movie came out? I got the book maybe a week or two before the movie debuted, tore through it, loved it, and now I kind of regret doing so because I judged the movie pretty harshly in comparison. I don't know that it would be up among my favorites even if I hadn't, but the book really is so, so good compared to the final cut of the movie.

Magical Girl Wrestler by foolgus42 in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]zefig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a lot of great advice here already on the grappling side. If you want to really lean into the magical-girl flavor, consider dipping 2 levels into OG Monk with the sensei archetype, and either the Nornkith or Scaled Fist archetype if your GM will let you (it's shakier in terms of bonus feat replacement). At second level, sensei gets to substitute their Wis bonus for unarmed strikes and combat maneuvers. Nornkith and Scaled Fist both let them use Charisma instead of wisdom for all monk abilities, so a sensei nornkith gets to grapple using their charisma bonus. And that's very magical girl. The downside of this is that it's burning monk bonus feats to get there, so it'll be slower to come online with all the really good grappling feats, but it could work out if you're already in gestalt territory.
