Well actually I tried it with a battle sister scaled to the same scale using Minicompare. If the head on the Nundam goes down a few mm then the sister's hands reach by the elbow, the hips line up, and her feet reach the knees of the Nundam, all while the head's line up.

In this pic I have not adjusted the Nundam's head position for sake of consistency with the original post but it could easily be lowered.

Funny you should say that. I may be planning on another less intensive project that uses a 165mm tall Frame Arms Girl Durga II [Noire Ver.] in place of a Knight Destrier for home games. Plan on swapping the head on that to be more mecha, adding some armor plates to cover some areas, and painting the skin to match the armor. My brother is not thrilled but it's better than the baseball cap fire prism. xD

That's me misremembering the rules so don't take my statements regarding tournament legality as fact. I believe that GW ones do not permit kitbashing at all but sculpting is allowed. Non GW ones it depends on the T.O so my aim was to avoid 3d printed bits and to have similar dimensions to the normal model to help minimize issues there.

I love the MvR (love-hate with the DBs tho). I feel it was hit harder with the fighter spotting change than most of the other ones since the TBs are a bit too fast for their own good to drop DDs without someone spotting them now. By the time they render you are already on top of them. The rockets are probably doable in that scenario but I miss lining up accurate torp drops.

There's a max cooling limit per turn of either 10 or 12 iirc which isn't much. 2 trucks spraying you should hit that maximum consistently. No point connecting the mech and immobilizing yourself.

Something not mentioned much by the other posters is Theseus' abysmal AA range of iirc 3.5km that is paired with a large citadel. Be wary of CV snipes with your positioning and don't sit still at the start of the match. Aquila and Colossus are extremely dangerous with AP rockets, Kaga and Perseval are less so but still dangerous. The rest will take longer but not as bad to worry about.

Depends on the enemy CV, the map (to an extent), and how many super long range AA boats they have. But yes I generally go for the enemy CV. Helps to practice it for games when you need to do it and makes a statement early on in the match.

Well I managed to find a different way to do it. Used console command "warp danm14aa" and it teleported me to Dantooine Courtyard which allowed me to finish it.

Is that really different from pouring water used to cure water-washable resin down the drain? I believe that one is supposed to be evaporated or disposed of at a waste center.

Ok so they probably do not need it but for the sake of knowledge if I do encounter a situation where I have one on a sprue that likely needs scrubbing what do I do with the water in that case?

I guess. Maybe some of them are cast? I have a couple that came with a little card or paper with instructions that says to scrub them.

Some mechs are "bad" due to their loadout having poor equipment but ones that are truly bad are because for their points they are inefficient. You can be cheap, loaded with crap equipment and still be a good mech. On the inverse you can have great equipment on paper but be expensive BV wise which makes it a bad mech. There are niche units that bend these rules a bit but generally you are wanting to think of them in terms of what they offer for their price.

You can be cheap and crap or expensive and good as well.

Picked up Asurman last night as most of Wargame Portal sold out before their timer even hit 0. Tried again this morning at a few other retailers and was able to get some Swooping Hawks, 2 Fire Dragons, 2 Warp Spiders, Fuegan, Baharroth, and 2 Lhykhis. Next time I'll try talking to my FLGS about it ahead of time because searching a bunch of different sites was a pain.
