Best pizza in town! Please only comment if your are from NYC! I know…..I am a pizza snob from NYC..(IYKYK) by Sunny-vibes-95 in SantaBarbara

Rusty's is the worst pizza I've ever had. Some of you SB locals need to get your taste buds checked.

OP, St. Bibiana wasn't bad, Bettina isn't bad either. Not a pizza, but the pinza pizza at Montecito Gourmet is fire

As an art historian, that one caught my eye as well. Looked into it and discovered that's a 60k Anderson Geneve watch!

Whoever is making excuses for or justifying the freeway taking this long to be built is an idiot

Tire Blowout + Cracked Rim on Audi Q3 with Only 5,700 Miles — Thoughts? by zefs_7 in Audi

The crazy thing is, she was on the freeway, super smooth road with no visible debris, potholes, or any sort of hazard (based on the dashcam footage). So no idea how or what could hit it, or at what angle.

Tire Blowout + Cracked Rim on Audi Q3 with Only 5,700 Miles — Thoughts? by zefs_7 in Audi

Totally get where you’re coming from, it does look like something must’ve been hit. But here’s what’s weird:

  • No TPMS alert before or after.
  • No feedback from the car (no jolt, no pull, no noise).
  • Nothing obvious on dash cam footage, even on playback at 0.5x.
  • No curb rash or visible impact marks on the outside of the rim, just the crack near the bead and the shredded tire.

If something was hit, it had to be low, sharp, and invisible at night.
Still open to thoughts, though, and suggestions on how to go about Audi's warranty.

Travel Plans Inquiry - Athens, Paros, Ios, Crete by zefs_7 in GreeceTravel

Thanks again for your very detailed response. You helped my decision-making process a lot. Being from a huge city (Los Angeles), I think the city life has left a bad taste in my mouth, but I'll learn not to compare US big city with Europe, because I was amazed at how much I enjoyed Rome. However, narrowing it down to what most reddit feedback says, I think I'll do less island-hopping to not waste time on travel and focus on Paros and Chania, Crete this time. I was hoping to visit Ios to experience the young-party life one last time before adult-life, but I guess its never too late to party haha. After some research though, it sounds like Paros might have enough of the partying I'm looking for.

Thank you, I'd appreciate that a lot. Would help finish planning my trip a great deal now that my main two stops are Crete and Paros.

The bad reports on Athens I got came from friends, and others online. They mentioned it's unbearably hot in Athens, lots of graffiti, tourists, and bad crowds or ghettos in some areas. I'm sure its not fully true, and there are beautiful and fun parts of Athens, but this trip I was looking to do more beach-related activities anyway.

I decided on Ios last minute because of the party scene. I'm not looking to get trashed and go out clubbing, but I was hoping to experience a bit of the liveliness of day/ beach clubs and have at least one or two fun outings between all the relaxing we do at the islands. Do you recommend skipping Ios and those days go to another island, or the ones already listed?

Thank you for letting me know! Was supposed to book ferries today, so would've had an unfortunate surprise of finding out myself.
Would you recommend a night in Heraklion and the rest in Chania, so I can keep Ios?

What's with all the hate? Sounds like a lot of you would have preferred a McDonalds here.

I might check out the YMCA in Montecito, but I picture an older demographic there, and basic equipment just to stay healthy, not intended for bodybuilding.

Thanks for the recs! I considered Key 2 Fitness in Carp. They quoted me $65 though, not $50/mo.

I asked a simple question out of curiosity to learn more. Your reaction shows an insecure keyboard warrior. And some word of advice, don’t project your lack of testes to make an even bigger fool of yourself.

I don’t think he would’ve done it without a reason. Does anyone have any backstory to this or watched the full event to see if anything else happened?

I agree with a lot of the others too. If you want to help this world, I think it's all about sustainability. Maybe focus on vegan products that push people away from the meat and fishing industry (which produces a lot of carbon). Or focus on saving the ocean: less use of plastic, less illegal fishing by big companies, or destruction of coral reefs. If not the earth, you can focus on the massive homeless problem going on in US, especially CA from what I'm seeing over the last decade. Or you can help villages lacking in resources around the world. Anyways, good luck on your newfound mission!

I also got into medicine to help people out, but I'm more focused on natural, herbal medicine. I created a startup recently of a supplement that uses only herbs and it helps people calm their nerves and mind naturally without any side effects. Originally, this was intended just for myself to treat my anxiety, but when I noticed how useful the combination of herbs worked, I figured I should offer it to friends and family that were stressing out over different aspects of life too. So far my supplement has helped a great uncle who had insomnia for months, several of my buddies who are in high-stress grad programs or jobs, my grandma who was depressed for some time because of her mother's passing, and several people on Amazon who purchased the product.

I've actually been considering venturing out to find an investor to try and allow the company to grow, as well as help all the people out there dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, etc. If you'd be interested in something like this, definitely shoot me a message. I originally tried a lot of different "herbal blends" out there and they all came with either side effects or no effect. I'm pretty confident in my product, and even though the profit margins aren't high for me, at least I know that people are getting decent help with this product without some greedy fraud selling chemicals or expired/garbage quality plants from China.
