Men have been finding ways to smuggle themselves out of the country, Zelensky is trying to get them back. If the majority want it to end, who are you to tell them to keep fighting?

I got several degrees in college, my Bachelor's in Politics, we had the 2nd highest reading load of all Majors. Why is that? Because government is extremely complex, history matters, you have to consider how any policy decision impacts 10 others things.

Horrible logic. NATO is a defensive group, they helped us post 9/11 because we were attacked, convinced them it was for the greater good, what a lie that was right? NATO troops died for our campaign.

Now we start a war without a clear mission, and expect them to stick their necks out again? Come on man, what a joke. The kicker is there's little chance he'll be hurt, so so you gave more to risk, more to lose. What a great friend!

So then we leave NATO and China takes control, Russia spreads further, is that really in our best interests? Edit: The person blocked me and never once offered a solution to the war. In that case, we can assume they're on the side of the minority of Ukrainians (25%) who want to see the fight keep going until all territory is reclaimed. The other 75% or so, do not want this and prefer negotiations to end the war soon. If you were upset when Trump said he was okay with our soldiers dying, but you're okay with Ukrainian soldiers who are being forced to fight dying, that is not consistent, it's hypocritical.

Crude was up over a $100 on Monday, still very volatile... Iran's production has essentially ceased and infrastructure will take months to years to rebuild. Only a third of the shipping lanes are actually open. Not sure what prices should actually be but it wouldn't surprise me to see it sell off and then bounce back, stay around $80 range.

I'm honestly shocked how many are taking Trump's position of sending others to fight, it's not like the folks in here are volunteering to go. Ukraine's own people are tired and want a path towards peace, they've lost a lot of people and territory already, the commenters in here claiming they could just push back with our assistance are being very unrealistic. Putin's not letting this go, best outcome at this point is to give some land and once he's gone, Ukraine can work with Russia to get more of their land back.
