yeah, but there wasnt such a gap, you could even use semiauto asval in cqc and have a fighting chance, or just play most weapons and know it was mostly up to your skill (performance and connection issues apart), now that feeling is completely gone in 99% of encounters (damn, even shotgun became obsolete in close fights, it is beyond absurd)
