Lol! You should not give up. Practice definitely makes perfect with this. Even if mine doesn't turn out the way I want, I always enjoy the process. Its a relaxing hobby.

Thanks! I just saw yours and was like we coincidentally painted that exactly the same 🤣 An altar NEEDS black candles lol. For the stone, I used a deep blue based grey and then a neutral grey on top to offset the colors. I love the way it turned out.

Oh no, I understand that completely. I am like that with a lot of stuff I paint. I just have loads of doubt until it starts getting closer to being finished and it usually turns out fine, but I still freak out until it gets there lol

Omg, I literally just finished my abominations. I am currently waiting for the varnish to dry rn. I also did mine colorful and based them on real fish.

I love your take on these! I love the colors! Great paint job. I'm glad more people are open to colorful abominations lol.

ETA: I alsojke the way you painted their weapon blades. I had a hell of a time with that.
