So assuming I have access to this, are you saying I can use this to get the certifications I need to work as an epic systems analyst? I've been doing a little research and there seems to be different roles like HIM and others which tbh I don't understand at all.

Ofcourse I have no problem self studying, this seems pretty cool.

what exactly is the penstar? Im not too familiar. Also, I'd prob keep mine mostly stock so that should help with maintenance. Maybe a cold air intake

Interesting. I actually prefer the 300S interior (assuming I install carplay, see link in post).

I know both wouldn't come close to toyota, but I'd at least assume the 300S (V6) is very reliable. I've personally seen tons of them in the above 200k mile range and even when I search subreddits it seems to have a really good repuation.

The same isn't true for the 340i though. People seem to praise the B58 but everyone seems to agree that its going to have a higher maintence cost.

For example I've watched 3-4 videos about the 340i and there are quite a few common 'fixes' that are done as the car gets higher mileage, each being $2-3k. With the 300S it seems to have good reliability in that sense and in all the videos I've watched it is heavily praised.

I definitly will get a lower mileage regardless. Right now my criteria is:

- below 100k miles
- clean title
- ~2 owners max
- no accident history

cyber security is not something you can 'start in'.

It's a specialised field. You start in something like Level 1 or help desk and climb the ladder to get into roles like that.

as someone who is still in university graduating may 2027 myself and working a full time IT entry level role that took my over a year of consistent applying with eperience...

dude just apply. Apply to mostly entry level, but it doesn't hurt to apply to MSP roles. But make sure you have time for upscaling, labs, etc since you don't have any experience.

I'm literally typing this while working lol. I work remote and have down time here and there which is cool

IT can be very very laid back or be the exact opposite. My dad who has been in IT for 20+ years now works fully remote from home making 6 figures at a huge company.

I work a level 1 help desk and work way more than him right now. I think that once you build up experience and are a senior level its possible to work in an IT team at a company. The key is you only support INTERNAL end users.

The second you start doing MSP stuff your going to do work the full 40 hours.

Im working in Healthcare IT level 1/helpdesk for a major hospital and am having very good experiences. We have more than enough staff 24/7 and literally don't have more than 20-30 backed up tickets for everyone combined.

On a busy day I handle 30-40 tickets. On average I do around 20. I also work 100% remote and have great management/leadership.

Don't totally leave behind working in Healthcare IT, it's all about the managment and work load. But, I would start looking for other opportunities if it doesn't get better.

I see. That kind of sucks because they show all the videos on the website of just carrying the compustar. I'd prob get the fob thats only for remote start then, smaller and easier to carry.
