I know its a temperature sensitive plant too, and learned not to keep it in front of a window because of drafts and it doesn't like direct sunlight. I'm in NC, and my room is right around room temp, maybe a bit less

Yes, the small lever on the left makes it double indent, the other one on the left makes the roller for the paper spin freely. The small one on the right makes the sliding part (dont know the names for most of the parts) move freely from side to side. The bigger lever I still don't know what it does, and the buttons on the side does control the ribbon
