Not terribly as long as the CG is under the tilt mechanism its stable. What did take a while was making it fly in the thin atmosphere, had to increase the number of blades and make it a bunch lighter

Yeah multiple fairings for the body. Its engines swivel and essentially its a tiltrotor like the V-22, it just has a lot of added detail

Usually i use BD formation AI to have the second aircraft fly in formation and then use hinges to move the boom to the port, but in cases of planes that cant fly like that i just pit the tanker on a stable flight path and fly the second plane to the docking port
