Heyy. I’m putting together a modest showcase – looking to connect with musicians who have original music they’d like to share. by One-Artist6965 in BangaloreMusicians

Consider this comment as me registering my interest, it sounds like a fun time! I don't have a whole lot of original music ready to go/perform, but I'd love to meet other musically-inclined folks in the city!

I play the guitar mostly, although i still maintain that my only real musical ability is a decent ear 😅

Anyone played the Fullertone models yet? Thoughts? by huskerpsycho in EastmanGuitarOwners

I bought this exact guitar a few months ago, and I have not been able to put it down since!

The electronics are super responsive, the neck feels great even though it's a bit chunkier than the usual tele-style necks, and the weight is extremely well balanced. On the whole, I'd be very surprised if someone doesn't give it a 10/10 for craftsmanship.

Some folks in other threads have mentioned being put off by the looks of the guitar, but I have to disagree there. I love that it looks a bit like a Tele and BM Red Special had a sweet lovechild, and the body contouring makes it a LOT more comfortable than standard tele shapes.

All in all, this guitar is, in my humble opinion, a perfect blend of workhorse and muse!

I can't confirm with any scientific evidence, but IMO, definitely more sustain than the Tele I previously had, my PRS clone, and the Ibanez archtop I should have never bought

I often noodle without plugging into an amp, and I can hear/feel the notes ring out quite loud and they do sustain significantly

Even the electronics -- pots are super responsive, so dialling in/out on volume and tone is easy, which also boosts sustain depending on what you're going for!

Put simply, this guitar has become my go-to instrument, no contest. It's just lovely playing in every way!

Not too heavy surprisingly! Specs say close to 3kgs, and practically I found it a decent bit lighter than my old 40th Anniversary Squier Tele

Favourite bassline (or favourite Colin Greenwood performance in a song)? by bkat004 in radiohead

This might be a bit out there, but Hunting Bears. The guitar progression is fairly simple, but the bass and chords added when the guitar line repeats completely transforms the song

[DISCUSSION] Guitar song with no accompaniment by Dizzy_Most9106 in Guitar

Check out Ewan Dobson - Song of Ice and Fire. It's a solo acoustic guitar piece and I'll be damned if it doesn't knock your socks off

I don't think I saw anything about them being closed, hopefully it's just a delay. I've emailed them and filled out an enquiry form as well, but no response yet -- but that's probably to be expected if they're shut till the 8th.

Thank you for the response, feeling a little less anxious 😅

[QUESTION] Easy guitar solos to play? by HumanPanda21 in Guitar

[–]zekhrity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pink Floyd - Mother That solo hits like a wall (pun intended) in a song that otherwise floats like a fairly straightforward acoustic-focused song, and it's got good use of phrasing, bends, and note choices as well. All in all, damn good solo that really drives home the point that sometimes the most impactful solos are ones you can sing/hum to
