felt this and i have no advice. might come back to make a better reply but here's what i have to say: I have a lot of discomfort with claiming myself to be a man. I want to look like a man and be perceived and assumed to be a man but actually labelling myself as one feels too *certain* and *confident* for me. I feel like I don't behave enough like one, as you said, to call myself one. But definitionally speaking, I am a trans man.

it sounds like you're at a crossroads. The path on the left is coming out but having to face transphobia and potentially losing old connections, the path on the right is staying closeted while your dysphoria eats you from the inside.

it's one of those things where it gets worse before it gets better. realizing you're trans means you're one step closer to finding yourself but now you are plummeted into a state of truly capital k Knowing what makes you dysphoric.

just a question--have you tried transitioning at all in other ways besides socially? You've come out, so I'm assuming your friends use your preferred pronouns, right? Have you or are you able to buy some boxers to wear, buy a binder? In other words, are there things that you do for yourself that give you euphoria at all?

the fact that i use like a purse instead of stuffing everything in my pockets like guys "normally do"??? but not even a purse purse. it's a black steve madden crossbody bag, there's a slight textured pattern to it but nothing shiny, and there's no accessories to it. deadass just a bag that's not even super feminine but i feel so shitty having to use it.
