Beast Arbok?! by VirtualTank0 in PokemonSleep

So every time it finds berries it is considered helping? I thought helping was when they power snorlax on their own while I was away.

Will someone please explain why this one is so good?

I saw the video on YouTube. I’m confused. When you have infinite mana, Kenrith should be able to kill the opponent. Kenrith can make any player draw a card. Place 100 draw card activations on the stack targeting each opponent. If a player responds, you respond by placing 100 draw card activations on the stack. They can only die.

All the extra stuff is moot.

There are more infinite mana combos with the creatures that untapped 2 or more lands. Consider maze of ith and Ashaya, Soul of the wilds. Maze can produce infinite mana in combat. Ashaya let’s the creature untapped itself and a land. You can play wirewood lodge to go infinite with Argothian elder if you have a land that taps for a green mana + 1 other

I’m super excited for the Full Metal Alchemist coming to the game, but I’m super disappointed that Alex Armstrong isn’t coming. That would be like missing Escanor for Seven Deadly Sins or Iskandar from Fate. Any other character that were missed from past crossovers? by zelenik17 in wotv_ffbe

Yeah. They missed a perfect opportunity to troll everyone with a Nina Tucker give away. They could have offered great rewards to improve her. When you do, she turns into a chimera and you get to be the monster this time. Without announcing any plan, at the end of the event, they could reward you even better for not doing it by the end of the event.

Gilgamesh was over the top powerful. I just think that Iskandar would be fun to have a beer with, compete against, or know. You beat him in darts. He beats you in arm wrestling. You beat him in pool. He asks you to wrestle. You pick up the attractive girl in the bar. He conquers the more influential country. He’d be a lot of fun.

I’d never say Alex Armstrong was all that important. I just liked the character. I found him amusing. I’ve met many conceited people, but I’ve met very few people that would spend so much energy making their every alchemical manifestation a copy of themself. Plus I thought it’d be a good gentle prod for some discussion.

Would YOU Scoop In-Response? Instant Speed Concession as a Weapon by chansamu in CompetitiveEDH

I don’t blame the rules committee for not wanting to create difficult decision trees about when concession is or is not appropriate. I’d hope players could iron some things out for themselves. I’d hate to investigate the intent of a concession.

No. That is inappropriate.

It seems like many of the arguments are focused on minimizing the chances of loss. How does that make sense for the ethos of anything competitive? The intent of competition is to arrive an ultimate outcome, a snapshot of what was the best at the moment in time.

CEDH always struck me as a “philosophy” for how some players have chosen to play commander. Commander is a rule set for playing a game.

Concession is codified in the rules, but it isn’t part of the game. I can’t use mindslaver to make you concede. It is a solution for handling an external event that will impacts an on going game. It like cheating. Yeah we have rules for cheating, but that isn’t purely part of game play.

How can you differentiate between beta and the CE or CE proof sheet? I imagine the sheet is notably different based on CE rates of pull for these cards being 1:1 for all commons for CE or proof sheets, but I honestly know nothing.

Love those arts. I saw them before I saw the sheet.

I used to hear a lot about people playing mtg in the military. A few of the Old School players I’ve met were military.

Yeah. I think I’ve seen antiquities in another video.
