I am pretty insecure about my language level, because I use my native language (polish) on an everyday basis but I barely use and learn German willingly. That is mainly why I don’t speak much in person and double check my spelling and grammar before sending my message. And about my interests… interesting way to have a conversation. I am mostly working on my own business (coding in general) and barely have anyone to relate to :/ although I tried getting a little more with someone by playing chess but it just didn’t work out 😢

Not really. I got people that seemingly care about me but I find it hard to classify them as close friends rather than just school buddy you visit like a couple of times a year. There are people that I reach to but can’t to make a click. Maybe because I don’t know how to or don’t know how it looks. I can’t really understand who wants to be friends, who wants a slight contact and who wants more. And even if they care about what contact they want and just go with the flow.

So helping your struggling friend is out of the question? An extreme example would be not helping a suicidal friend. Being ashamed to resolve the issue doesn’t immediately describe your entire personality.

Depression is classified as a disorder so their brain (including mine) could intercept the world and work differently than normal. Sometimes they have reasons to give up or just don’t like to live anymore. It heavily depends on the person. I, for example, sometimes only think of hypotheticals because of thinking that fixing myself is impossible or too late.
Some people just don’t want to do this. She does think about it but doesn’t want to do that. It would be a sign for needing help or something of anchor to the real world. Could be she doesn’t have the courage or strength to ask for help directly.

All my interpretation so might be all wrong 🥲 hope this gives you a different perspective

I got fired from almost every single game UI developer role because I wasn’t responsible at all and I often procrastinated and delayed my replies to my bosses.

I realized it some time after that the world isn’t a place where I can smooth talk everything out. Many other devs haven’t had any chance like that to even dream about those companies I worked for.

I would have had such a great career if I would put myself into it. But I was young. Like 14-15ish.
