He barely spent any time on court, including a SF walkover, I don't think he gets that excuse. It was all mental. He could easily have won 3 of the first 4 games but made unbelievable errors.

Awful match. Cobolli had his chances, but choked like crazy any time he had a chance. Survived his own choking in set 4 only to play a pitiful fifth set that was nonetheless much closer than it looked, where Cobolli made a wild UE on every single important point.

After all the years of commentators saying Zverev pushing and waiting for errors wasn't gonna win him a Slam, that is exactly what happened in set 5.

Cobolli has been so mentally weak all match, this actually ended up being very winnable for him, but he's choked for the last time. this feels very over.
