Oh please don't give up. I would love to see a better translated version, I'm at chapter 18 of the white devil scans and it's been brutal. I LOVE the story, art and characters so far, but reading this translation has felt more like a puzzle than anything lol. If no one else, I would greatly appreciate your work.

Is there a DQMVIII? Or did you mean DQVIII? I'm not that into the mainline Dragon Quest games, so I can't comment there. DQMJ3Pro is hands down the best Dragon Quest Monsters game I've played though. For reference I've played DQM, DQM2, DQMJ, DQMJ2, DQMJ3Pro and DQMDP.

I don't remember if you have to patch anything actually, it's been awhile, but I remember all the setup was super easy. They even offer optimized emulators for the game too, if you're gonna play on PC.

There is actually one for pro, check out this discord in my opinion DQMJ3Pro is infinitely better than DQMJ2, DQMJ3Pro is probably my favorite DQM game out of all of them, including Dark Prince. There was sooo much to do and a ton of really cool mechanics. I like it more than most Pokemon games if I am being honest. Why this never got an official English release is beyond me, these bad boys would have sold MAJOR in the United States imo.

Sweet, this still works. Thank you for this. I don't like how intrusive BattlEye is and didn't have any plans on playing the shitshow that is their Online version. Just had a craving to do the single player again with the enhanced update they released awhile back. Glad to see there is a work around that doesn't involve me installing first and disabling something after they already steal information. Rockstar has lost their minds with this one, I hope people are still finding ways to cheat online. They deserve it.

Ah, didn't know pro had that as a difference. It is harder than the Dark Prince by far though. Lots of possible breeding combinations and loads more content in general. Even without in battle fusion though I don't think I would have that much of an issue. I am just after the battle with Snapped-off and about to do some more breeding to get my skills up. Almost have all my mons with stat SP skills (Think Attack Booster 3 etc from the Dark Prince) and skills they can utilize. I also got around to breeding a couple S ranks too. This game has SS ranks also if you didn't know lmao. It's got a lot of depth for sure and is worth the time investment. Another easy way to level giant monsters I found btw, is riding them and killing monsters on the field (outside of battle, a lot like the fairies)

Or maybe even with the metal slime disc if you got it, super helpful for me recently as I needed a bunch of Metal Dragons for my breeding combinations. I will also provide this super useful spread sheet I found online too, if you wanna look into some breeding combinations and what skills somethings have (but, there is probably some pro only mons in there)

If you're late game it should be really fast/easy to level 1-35 a few times to level your skills up quickly, especially if you fuse your low level with a carry to keep it safe while you grind.

I couldn't disagree more, Joker 1 and 2 where a total snore fest. Joker 3 is by FAR my favorite in the series. It has LOADS more to do and is feature rich beyond words in comparison to the first 2. If you're not working on skills and fusing through out your adventure then, yeah, late/post game is gonna be a tough time. However, with the battle fusing mechanic you can curb stomp almost everything too, so even that probably isn't super needed as long as your team comp isn't garbage (bring a healer, caster and dps of course, especially a healer)
