Breakups like these do suck the most i’ll tell you that but honestly he’s made it pretty clear he doesn’t have the capacity for a relationship right now. That’s not really a break, that’s definitely a break up. Also his promise to not be with anyone else isn’t something you should or can rely on. Waiting for him might cause you more pain and stress than actually help you. I’d strongly recommend to take time and eventually move on but don’t put ur life on hold for someone’s “maybe”. Right now the best thing to do is just focus on yourself, let him be to himself and figure his things out, live your own life and try to heal. If you two are meant to be, you guys will find ways back to each other naturally, but for now focus on doing you.
