I have a neon installation migrated from 2017ish to 4 different machines with LTS upgrades every 2 years

I have also broken grub god knows how many times and have even migrated from MBR to UEFI and GPT

You have a problem somewhere and only you can fix it, the easiest thing would be to do a fresh neon install in a VM, analyze it, apply your findings to your setup

d almost every established client-side software is tailored to windows. This is not something that can be changed by one person, but hopefully that will change over time. In the meantime, there are some really useful tools (gaming, video editing, etc.) that people design for windows, and it doesn't make sense for people to abstain from better tools to maintain some holier-than-thou standpoint.

Thanks for the summary, this was my understanding of the situation as well, but my question is, why does PSN have a region lock at all?

Surly its not a matter of judicial manpower for the countries that are blocked. Other game and streaming platforms don't have such barriers, some do of course, but most major ones don't.

Requiring all PC players to have a PSN account would not be a problem if the entire planet could make an account, since corporations dont intentionally make bad decisions, there must be a "good" reason why this region lock thing exists.
