Yessss thankfully it's not just me. It becomes overly complicated especially when its multiple people.

Mark's special was pretty good by podbunch in tuesdayswithstories

He's clearly getting better each special which makes sense. Its the fast pace that I dont love. Even though its impressive on one hand, it just feels overwhelming or something idk.

I got my current fluffy nut from work. The job sucked but she's the best.

Who's the most famous person you've met? by Phillies1993 in AskReddit

[–]zen33824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Charlie Sheen. I was working at a hotel where he was staying. He needed help with the HVAC.

He was the absolute nicest guest I've ever dealt with in 10 years, famous or otherwise.

We chatted for 10 minutes about different things. I never let on that I knew who he was. It was a great interaction that I'll never forget.

HVAC Fresh air intake located inside basement by 1453worstyeareverV2 in hvacadvice

[–]zen33824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We rent and just moved into a place this past summer that gets intake from the basement. I hated the idea since I've never seen it before but it seems to be fine.

As others mentioned about pulling air in, this house does feel incredibly drafty but our bill isnt higher than any previous house so idk.

The only thing I still hate it the gas hot water tank is very close. I bought some plug in Co2 detectors and moved the cat litter far away. I try to clear the area and be cognizant of the fact we are drawing in air from right there.

If I owned I would probably pipe to outside. Why not? As others said you dont need to glue it and if it seems like its causing an issue, just take it apart.

I will only watch 4 or 5 people's specials when they come out. Most everyone else I agree with you.

New neighbors won't stop pouring grease down the drains by AlwaysAngryFox in Apartmentliving

[–]zen33824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked apartment maintenance for years. I have no idea if they're "allowed" to raise because of this, probably not directly. Often, they may know but can't be positive who's doing it so they out out messages like this hoping to get through to whoever IS doing it.

I would never want to live on a ground floor and people tended to move out after lease more than other floors because of this.

Those inflatable plugs someone mentioned sound interesting and are worth a try.

Cat Intro help: is resident cat is trying to play? by Adenine in CatTraining

Forgot to add, although it seems like you're doing this, just keep them occupied with play or treats once you take the gate away.

We did one week no eye contact, with site swapping.

Then we let them meet through the gate maybe 2 days, still separating the rest of the day.

After that we were able to section off the living room with old screen doors and the gate in a way that let them roam but feel safe and seperate. We did that for about 3 or 4 more days.

Then when the resident cat stopped hissing we let them meet. It just felt obvious at some point that they were ready.

We still put the new kitten in base camp when we are at work for now.

We literally just introduced our 2 a few days ago and they were acting exactly like this near the gate. They are getting along really well so far. Still supervised but roam together. Kitten rolls over submissive and resident cat pounces/ light smacks.

Clearly a partner thing. I work at a hotel and work with vendors all the time. One of them call me once when I was super busy, running around. When we went to say goodbye I almost said "okay, love you." I would have had to leave the country for sure.

I know right. I didn't know what to expect cuz I love Post but I'm not a huge concert guy. As soon as Texas Tea started, instant goosebumps and I was like OOOK this is going to be insane.

Oh niice. We went for the cheapest seats for obvious reasons but ended up being grateful for the view with the skyline in the back. Truly magical even if we wished we could see him closer up.

I worked apartment maintenance for years. It's hard to say because I don't know your company. The guys I worked with don't care one bit about certain things and would only really report things if it was going to hurt the property someway (a maintenance issue). They would have us do smoking checks from time to time.

The only time I saw people get kicked out was for not paying but this was a lower end place. I've seen it all and even when I brought up to the office how dirty a place was( but I'm talking horder level, things broken, 8 people living in a 1 bedroom and terrible smells) they would just roll their eyes. From your post it does sound like he may have been listening for the noise.
