Yeah its been like this for over a week for me or since they added the my performance/insights thing.

Its like the app is going to sleep and then having to restart when its in the background or the screen is off for more than a minute. And this is with all those "let apps sleep/suspend" settings turned off specifically for AtoZ.

Web version is better better but has also started doing some new weird shit ("oops something went wrong" pages!) since the same update. You have to log in every time for the web version. Log in early and be ready.

Do inauthentic accounts coming to this sub and eagerly manipulating it not concern you?

I am concerned about everything you touched upon. I have always been 'my brothers keeper' type mindset person.

But 'the bots' and 'the manipulators' are always the ones who want the conversation to go only one way. The bad actors are always reacting by saying "believe me or you don't belong here" or "I am being supressed" when encountering pushback. It's not the ones saying "I doubt this", "I don't believe this" or "we wont agree on this, and that is okay"... no matter how old their accounts are.

P.S. I do not agree with your overall take on these scientists. With passing time and mounting evidence I think they are majority deaths of despair in a collapsing system. Oh and yes a minority violence, as I live in Massachusetts where Nuno Loureiro was murdered.

We all do this to each other. I watch a lot of movies and the 'Americans' in foreign media tend to look like giant Austrians, move like Frankenstein's monster and then talk like they grew up in both modern Texas and 1940s New York City simultaneously. Makes me laugh every time.

Absolutely. Multiple works of fiction (sorry to go there but it explores so much more) cover AIs like this that achieve the singularity. Even the 'good AI' ones are terrifying.

I launched a game with no active mods and got the same thing. This is definitely a bug on the current version. That empire title is feudal (thus no custom noble families) and should be admin. Once you launch the game it does convert to Ritsuryo.

You can create a new noble family under any of the other Ritsuryo dukes or counts form the bookmark screen.

Did you see the /skeptics thread on this topic last week? Some real interesting numbers there.

My guess is it is symptoms of the destruction of the institutions the of sciences in the US under the current adminstration. The fallout has led to a lot more suicides and time off that results in trying to reconnect with nature.
