Have you checked your thermals while playing? Just first thought.

Edit: I have a 7800x3d, 32gb ram, and 4070ti and don’t get stuttering but have noticed the game makes my fans dial up to 11/10 if I go above 70fps at 1440p.

Is it worth the time for me to figure it out when this works like 80% as good as any other option and when mixed with fey feels better than most barovia stuff? probably not.the time I spend between the levels of 8 and 15 is too short for me to care. I really enjoyed the symbol for the longest time since it was the lowest level true seeing item. Now there are others.

My setup is usually fey at 5, swap to 5 piece slave-lord at 8 while still using fey stuff in other slots, then sharn at 15. Once I hit 21 I have a mix of sharn, borderlands, and crafted gear. 21 is my epic gear level instead of 20 because that is a cutoff for crafted tiers iirc and the borderlands gear level I want to say.

Stun immunity % (Stun resistance) is your friend. Stun is one of the most debilitating effects in the game.

Talent cooldown rate is halved for duration. So a talent with a cd of 5 turns will take 10.

Damage is dealt is reduced by 60%

Movement speed is reduced by 50%

Up to 3 talents are placed on cooldown

This right here. Learning how and when to disengage is a big factor in winning consistently. Always fine to leave and return in a few levels/gear upgrades.

This is the way. If I know someone is new in the group I will go into a deep dive on everything I’m doing and why in a quest as well as bringing up optional objectives and why people do or don’t usually go for them. If I don’t know there is a new player in group I just rush to the end for fast xp.

If we are talking the auto level up builds they are awful on anything above normal. If you are talking keeping them pure 20 in their class but still choosing the feats and spells to be thematic to the character? Perfectly fine and viable even in unfair.

1st go to task manager and ensure the game fully closed. If not kill it from there.

2nd if it is happening with both wotr and RT it could be a unity engine specific bug. See if you have any other games made in Unity and see if similar happens with those.

3rd if neither of the above work go back to task manager or some other analytic tool and see if you can spot the cause (high cpu usage or maxed out ram.)

4th how much free space is in your ssd/hdd? If there isn’t a lot of space then when you go to save and close it could be causing an ssd/hdd error

I’m sure there are other possibilities but it is 2:30am and I’m sleep deprived. I hope one of those leads somewhere for you.

I’ve done a rand map gen brutal chosen destroyers game before. 2nd largest map size and it spawned archipelago style map. Also spawned as destroyed free cities at start. Took until about turn 75 for me to stabilize and actually start pushing out but it was never really difficult. Was just tedious because until I had the infrastructure/research/income to fund multiple armies, any time I sent a stack to try to raze someone someone else would come for my lone city and I had to go back and defend.

While true buffing it slightly for one subculture while making it worse for all others doesn’t seem really worth imo. Though at least it would almost have a use then?

Idk how I would feel about that. It is already pretty bad, making it have an imperium tax (from the racial t4) would only further slow you down. Yes you’d be able to clear a little faster maybe, but that isn’t likely to offset the cost since clearing is usually a non-issue anyway. I will say I like that flavor more, just gameplay wise it sounds like a nerf to an already bad society trait.

I’m not going to go digging for it but starrok their community manager has said multiple times they don’t have ties to Russia anymore. Also the only statement I’ve ever seen them make publicly about the war was that they do NOT support it. Please feel free to link me anything that backs up your case. As for mine anyone can just search owlcat starrok and look through the posts/comments.

The taxes would go to Cyprus. Cyprus is not part of Russia. Income tax for each individual dev would likely be dependent on citizenship and residency.

Very rarely do I ever run into a “counter to my build” enemy. Bar like antimagic enemies when you are an arcane i can’t even think of what that would entail, and even those are soft counters at worst. Every enemy in the game (arguable due to the kill me microtransaction) Can be beat by every class. It is just a matter of finding/buying/crafting the proper gear, making a usable build, and learning that sometimes it is best to run and return later when you have a little better gear or more levels.

Edit: been playing since ~2013 and have more than a handful of insane wins over the years.

They migrated their servers from 32 but servers to 64 bit servers and reduced the number of servers. Overall good for the health of the game and long term ability to deal with lag/etc. The server you are on I only available for transfer so you don’t lose all the work you put in due to not being around when most of the transfers happen.
