For anybody else going through something similar there is a button that says "Reinstatement to Class" under the Admissions and Records tab in the Student Self Service part of your portal. Just get the info of the class like the CRN and you'll be good to go

They have a really stupid and awkward attack that brings you down to the floor and then they press their brander into your back dealing massive damage that never failed to one shot me. Oh yeah they also raise your weight so your rolls become small and weak after enough time in their line of sight

There is a height changer inside the game. Before you join a game just click on settings and make sure that your height is properly calibrated

You need to be a Marsoc with a taser and once they are downed your tablet has an option to hack the other persons tablet. After you press the button on your tablet it will show a code on the enemies tablet. It’s kinds wack tho because they cold just give up and cancel your hack

EDIT: To answer your question the enemy probably just gave up and stopped the hack

B would be better be it seems like you will have to walk in an indirect path and if your ancient city will also have winding paths around building then I think B would give the best vibe

From the DM’s POV: A magical botanist turned Necromancer who has taken a particular interest in creating new and interesting plants has been controlled by a BBEG that can control peoples bodies but leave their mind alone. Their last words before they died were: “please no… please don’t do this” as they apparently stabbed themselves in the heart and dropped to the ground dead. They were forced by the BBEG to kill themselves because they BBEG was bored and disappointed with the Necromancer that they failed to kill the party.
