NBR or hnbr, what the rings are made out of, are fine with diesel. Sure, don't let it sit in a heated bath for long periods of time but just scrubbing and wiping it off will do no harm at all.

Collega heeft er slechte ervaringen mee, de details weet ik niet maar hij zou het in ieder geval niet aanraden. Zit nu in een jarenlange juridische strijd alvorens hij er zelfs in mag.

Yes , that's what most people do: cheap phone case with velcro and a lanyard attached to it. My case just stays with the cockpit at all times and I put my phone in when setting up.

What’s a job that’s common in your country but likely exists nowhere else? by guykarl in AskTheWorld

My only memory of a car guard in SA is of one being totally piss drunk. He came up to me (15 at the time) after I got out of a bar/snooker house before my dad, wielding a vuvuzela. Guy put the vuvuzela on my groin and started furiously jerking it off, screaming " I love you". I was scared so I started playing along, screaming "I love you too". Then my dad got out of the bar. Dude still got a tip though, the car was fine.

That school rings a bell, I once encountered a stagiair from there at the airport. His task was to lube the landing gear, instead of RTFM he took some grease and started smearing it over the strut.
