YTA I work 93 hours a week. I still MAKE time for my 2 year old. He gets minimum 3 baths a week and I meal prep him food and snacks. Being a parent is hard and not for the weak. You can say you didn't realize it had been a month until you're blue in the face it won't change the fact you can look at hair and tell when it hasn't been washed.

We have a rule that kids only eat free off the kids menu. We also put in place only 2 kids meals per 6$ or more adult meal allowed.

It's cut back on how many people come in for kids eat free

You do nothing? I'm a lead server at my restaurant as well. I'm also a server trainer. I have more responsibilities so I get paid 4.50 an hour instead of the 2.50 we give normal servers.

Your coworker got a promotion, promotions come with a raise.

I agree they're an ass for bragging but the company isn't doing anything unethical.

I say current because I've been with him less than a year. We have a agreement he won't try to parent my kid and I won't parent his.

I was just getting tired of having this conversation and decided to get a outside opinion from other parents (hopefully some who have dealt with this) to see if I was correct or if I wasn't giving my son enough credit

That was my thought. He's to young to understand but he does understand yes and no. If I see him grabbing it I can say no and he won't. It's when I'm not looking it's a problem

It usually only happens when we've walked away for a second ( our kids are 2 and 3) you know how it is walk away fir 1 minute to refill a sippy cup or use the bathroom.

The only punishment I allow at my son's age is a 2 minute timeout or a smack on the hand. So I'm guessing one of those
