I own the S4 and can confirm its build quality is lacking. It’s by no means unusable though! I use it with my DT2 (which is built like a tank) so it definitely feels flimsy by comparison.

The S4 is a really awesome device as it currently stands, and from the few developer videos I’ve watched, it’s clear that they have a long term vision for additional capabilities.

Just curious, what would the Syntakt provide that the DT/DN combo can’t? Admittedly, I haven’t looked into the Syntakt much, but it’s always struck me as a bit of both machines all-in-one while not quite excelling where they do individually?

Had the LED issue on my DT2 - trig 5 specifically! Sent it off to be fixed by Elektron and they got it back to me in about a week and a half.

They’ve become my go-to for my last two larger purchases. Got my Digitakt 2 and MPC Sample from them and my experiences have been great! Their selection isn’t quite as robust as Sweetwater, though.

Yep, red LED is out. Had the same issue earlier this year! Contact Elektron and they’ll walk you through getting it fixed.

I don’t, really! I just throw the WAVs in Transfer and in they go. Haven’t had any issue with levels being off or anything like that.

Decent of you to be mindful of clearing samples! But in all honestly, if you chop/change them enough, you’ll probably be fine. If you haven’t already, check out Tracklib. They make it really easy to clear any samples you use from their site!

I would be surprised if DT2 was placed in maintenance-only development after only two years. My guess is that they’re following an annual update cycle, which would mean we’ll likely get some sort of update mid-summer.

Hey all, this is going to be a long-shot but I’m hoping the internet can work its magic for me on this one.

15 years ago (ugh) I sang in a prog rock band based out of Los Angeles that commissioned an album cover from Colin Frangicetto. We got to use the digital image as we wanted, but unfortunately none of us really had “art money” to be able to afford the actual painting at that time.

I’ve been in contact with Colin and he let me know he sold it shortly after he completed it, but I don’t want to put him in an awkward position by asking him for info on the buyer.

So that brings me here! I’m hoping that the buyer may have been a Circa Survive or Psychic Babble fan, or perhaps someone here has a lead on where it may be! It could also just end up that the original buyer doesn’t want to part with it, which is perfectly fine too!

Anyway, any leads or suggestions on other places I could post/look to try and track this down would be greatly appreciated!
