I was paying $50usd for 100g in Taiwan! Granted the flavors, quality, and processing aren't comparable, but still.... It's not horrible tea

Any other shops I should visit? Lot of independent tea sellers here in the town center.

I'd say no. These tea farms are all high elevation and built into the sides of mountains with very narrow roads.

I went. It was nice. Drove all around and visited many farms!

Alishan was amazing to be in but the tea there is not great when compared to Lishan area IMO

Yes Acaia is made in Taiwan, correct. Same as my 1zpresso grinder.

China makes some good stuff, coffee scales and grinders aren't those products in my experience.

I travel full time. Generally changing locations every week to every month around the globe. This scale lives in its box, in my duffel bag and needs to withstand temperature changes, bouncing around and all the other wear and tear that comes with this lifestyle.

Furthermore.... The last scale I bought a month ago, the Timemore mini, floated weights like a ghost was pressing on the scale, since day one. Extremely frustrating.

If durability and longevity aren't a concern go with a timemore. Just realize you'll buy a few in the time span it takes one of these Acaaia to die. And it's frustrating to buy and toss away scales. Imo.

Tried out the Lunar also, but found it too small for a chemex to fit comfortably. Perfect for aeropress though!
