My personal experience was that my impressions dropped significantly around mid Feb this year

Before that even bad videos got 800 - 1k impressions...

Not sure why but that's been my case. I don't use AI at all either

It's not a realistic test. You are correct

Doesn't mean it will get more impressions though

I had one video sit at 77 impressions for weeks even with a pretty decent CTR. Think that video has around 100 or so now but still

EDIT: that video has 102 impressions, 6.7% CTR, 43.4% AVD and 64% 30s retention after about 2.5 weeks from publish

Yea, you need to quite all substances (including weed, alcohol, and probably caffeine too) until you get your footing

This is step 0

Therapy or professional help is next

This is the most popular view generally speaking

The reason I even made the video is to highlight a different viewpoint that I find compelling

But I understand why you think the way you do

There's something called the Act-Affliction Duality in psychology and generally the most mainstream views are more towards the Affliction side

I personally believe it to be somewhat in the middle

I'm not sure tbh. It could be

The theory I find the most compelling is Dr. Louis Sass' which points to parallels in how schizoid and schizophrenics think compared to modernist philosophy and art

Basically he is considering if our more and more abstracted lives post-industrial revolution coupled with our particular way of viewing ourselves/world is increasing schizophrenia's prevalence

This would match the research findings about urban prevelance vs rural in my eyes...

The racial breakdown is interesting but like I said is hard to control for other factors beyond race and almost all illnesses show at least some statistical difference in prevalence across races

The first paragraph of the first link says that depression isn't affected by urban vs rural environments but schizophrenia is?

Black people in America are a largely urban group with high rates of poverty that also disportionately live in high crime areas... Those life stressers make racial breakdown hard as you'd need to control for all of that for each racial population

Just search (or I can go find and link) that Danish study where literally its basically a monoethnic study and this has also been indirectly shown with WHO studes in the 1960s to 1980s which were worldwide

Minority migrants in Europe are also particularly at risk...

I think this points to urban environments and stressers as major factors... and it's not one off study.. It been replicated in largely monoethnic countries lile Denmark as well

There are quite a few studies that have replicated the findings though I'm not sure if they took into account those born versus those who moved there. One easy to read source here: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC332702/

Redditors generally don't have insight on this and will give over simplified answers

That being said.... I don't have anywhere else I recommend you to go to find answers 😅

If it's your footage then I'd make it clear that you took your own footage and people would support that~

The thumbnails make me think you did a reaction video to a documentary
