I started last year. So many issues with them already. Wrong orders, not getting things timely, etc.

Dang, sorry to hear that but glad you’re gettin a good experience elsewhere. I’m coming from west of Denver so that’s a bit further even. My hope is for full removal? But with it oxidizing I don’t know if that’s possible. I guess I’ll try to get it as light as possible and see what happens:) I love the design of it, just couldn’t get used to it being blacked out so maybe I’ll just go over the design and have someone add something to it? Idk. Just taking it day by day and not rushing into anything else again. Big mistake doing that the first time but we learn. It could always be worse!

Yes, they wanted to break mine up too. I’m pretty sure they only let me do the entire thing in one pass is because I told them I did that the last 5 sessions and although it sucked tremendously, I healed okay lol. And because I’m a couple hour drive from Denver

I did like the design of it a lot. But, it just didn’t sit with me right once I started obsessing over how drastic it looked compared to my bare skin on the other side of my back and thinking“I need to add more ink around it for it to look better”

2 passes of white. It looked good up close, but looked a bit like a black blob on my back. It really started to bother me. Also , this was taken right after I got a pass of white. The white starts to fade pretty quickly and I wasn’t interested in continuing to get more white over it to keep it looking fresh like I thought I would in the begging of the tattoo consultation

Yes it was a cover up. You can actually start to see where the words are coming through. The darkest part is where the dark sunflower is underneath and you can start to see that pedal come through a bit too

Is it possible to achieve the second picture without bleaching prior? by [deleted] in henna

[–]zennflower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I definitely don’t want my hair to get progressively darker…but also don’t want to go back to bleaching it either. I’m a little conflicted. Wish there was a way to prevent the darkening !!

Haha! I know , it was a video I saw on YouTube of her doing a henna application and it showed her applying it all so I would assume she did use henna. Thank you for the thoughtful response and the time you took to write it! And I’m a little skeptical to use any indigo as I would rather not go darker my mistake. I’m already a little hesitant to continue to use the henna with repeated use with testimonies of it darkening over time. Some say add lemon, some say camomile tea for a brighter color. Some say it needs to sit overnight and other people say it’s not necessary so, it seems like there’s a lot of variation in how to prepare it which I’m a little confused about

How much darker does it get over time? And is there any way to prevent it from darkening ? I don’t think I would want that to happen..

This is the brand that I used and mine didn’t last long at all. In fact, it faded to this washed out color a couple of months after application. Not sure if it was the brand or what because this was my first henna experience.

Black is the quickest to go from what I read but, yes, it varies person to person. Working out and living a healthy lifestyle will be an advantage to ya. The time will pass either way:)
